      Date of Transaction: 4/30/2025 Amount: $35.00 **************** charged me a co-pay even though I didn't owe one. My health insurance covers all pre-natal care. My health insurance paid this facility and the payment posted but they refuse to refund me for the co-pay they inaccurate charged me claiming they're going to keep it for 45 days without any explanation.

      My Ob is located at the ********* location. I am currently 39 weeks pregnant. My last visit was sometime the first week of May because my ******** was cancelled. ********** said they could not see me because I have no health insurance and I could do a cashpay which would be $4,000 up front. I obviously do not have that kind of money. I received a bill in the amount of $280.00. I called on Monday to pay the bill and also to see if I can make an appointment (if the visit is $280.00 I can pay it) because I am almost 40 weeks and need to be induced however, ER will not schedule me to be induced because they say I need a Dr to schedule me. The young lady at the front desk said she will call me back on Monday. She never did (she was also supposed to call me back 2 weeks ago). I emailed the office yesterday and again, I have not heard back. I need a Dr to please schedule my induction. My body is in a lot of pain and my feet are swollen I cannot do anything. Please have someone call me back so I know what are my options. I am happy to pay for the Drs appointment to of pocket if its not thousands of dollars.

      I was charged a No Show Fee despite having cancelled my appointment days earlier. I spoke with management and they printed my Communication logs showing that I clicked on a Text received by WHASN and completed an Action on 4/12 at 6:55pm. The action taken was to cancel the appt, however, they are claiming it was to confirm appt. The printout of logs they gave me cuts off columns to the right of my record, so I cant see what other data is provided about this text log. I am simply requesting for the full print out of my Phreesia logs and evidence showing that the Action I completed was not cancelling the appt. If the Action was to not cancel appt then I will gladly pay the no show fee, however, I am certain that I cancelled the appt and recall the return message displayed was that my cancellation was confirmed and that I would receive a callback to reschedule appt.

      Hello,

      This patient had an appointment on 4/15/2024.  The patient was sent 3 reminders to register for her appointment or to contact us directly to cancel.  We have a cancellation policy with the office that she has signed.  She was given all of the reports by the assistant manager when she came to the office on 5/20/2024.  The patient has a signed document stating that no show charges will be assigned if the appointment is not cancelled more than 48 hours in advance.  I have included the Phreesia log of her being reminded and clicking on the appointment reminder.  We also have where our staff has cancelled her appointment in the system.  The appointment time was 930am and we cancelled her at 1022am.  This is shown in the security log.  The patient has had no shows waived previously.  Once on 2/1/2022 and again on 3/7/2022.  Those were done as a courtesy.  We no longer can "just waive" the fee.  We wanted to do right by this patient and even pulled our phone logs.  The patient called to reschedule the appointment on 5/6/2024.  The original appointment was created on 4/14/2023.  We asked the patient to provide us with her text message or phone log and we would take that into account.  She refused.  The charge of $50 stands and is the patients' responsibility.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I would like to provide this feedback to the business:

      I appreciate WHASN for sending me a full-print out of my Phreesia Communication Logs as I was able to determine that the system doesn't indicate the Action I had completed in the text.  Considering I did not screenshot the cancellation on my end, I have no way of proving this further.  I will submit a payment for the fee.

      I also want to clarify that I received a No Show Charge Fee and subsequent waiver for an appointment on 2/1/22, but that appointment was a clerical error and should not have been made.  I had already been seen for those services days earlier on both 1/28/22 and 1/31/22.  Therefore, I shouldn't have received a No Show Charge Fee to begin with.  It would be beneficial to WHASN patient's if careful consideration is applied by management when conducting audits/reviews of patient's history, and perhaps this clerical error would have been obvious.  The management team can have more compassion for their patients instead of assuming they're trying to take advantage of the system.  They should also own up to their mistakes, particularly, with their interpretation of the Phreesia Logs suggesting that I was initially provided a full print out and any further columns to the right contained other patient data.  I'm certain that would be a HIPAA violation to have patient records mixed in together like that.

      I hope my sharing of this experience will improve how WHASN operates and treats their patients going forward.  Have a wonderful day!

      I was seen in at the WHASN ********* Location on 11/29/2023. After my visit I had a question regarding my lab order. I called no return call, then I tried calling additional times and all VM are full so you cannot leave a message. I received a call a couple of weeks later with lab results left on a VM. I returned the call and was told the MA would call me back after rooming her patient that never happened. When I spoke with a manager ***** she was rude dismissive and hung up on me. I called corporate after multiple messages and request for a call back The *** contacted me and heard my complaint. I had to return 2/5/24 for a procedure and this time I was called 2hrs prior and told I needed to com early because the Dr had to leave. I did, then proceeded to wait over an hour and was called in at my original appointment time only to have the MA ******* treat me with the most disrespect, she was uncaring aggressive and argumentative. I was so upset I left in tears and would not bee seen. Nobody intervened just allowed her behavior. I have not received my refund or a call back from corporate. This office needs restructuring an management, the MA should not be treating patients with her lack of empathy, compassion or professionalism. I have worked in healthcare for 27 years and was absolutely disgusted by this behavior. I dont know if this is a company wide issue or that location specifically but it is unacceptable and now I have to find another Physician while my health issue remains undiagnosed or treated. I did leave a message for my provider to contact me no answer. Someone should have stepped in when she was yelling and I ran out to the front desk to tell them I would not be seen.

      I paid for an exam and office visit on September 7th. At the time, my ******** was terminated so I paid $350 out of pocket. The front desk gave me a receipt and after my exam was over I left. I now have a bill charge of $290 and I am not understanding why. This happens about 2-3 months after my visit which I find highly inconvenient since if there were any incurring charges then I shouldve been told day of appointment which would be inconsistent with what the front desk receptionist. I have called billing twice. The office manager has not called me about my inquiry and was warned by billing department that said office manager at the WHASN East location has been quite difficult with similar situations. I do not see why I am responsible for paying this $290 especially months after. I can only be responsible for charges relevant for that office visit. I have an appointment on January 5th and may have to cancel because of this charge. This is not acceptable and highly inconvenient. Aside from this one particular provider did a terrible job explaining to me my diagnosis and she started the conversation with treatment when I had no idea what the issue was. It felt rushed and dismissive.

      This company owes me a refund. I've contacted the billing department back in early July . They acknowledge they owe me a refund . They told me they'd have to Contact the office manager who won't respond to there messages or my phone calls . Billing department keeps telling me they will send my check on Thursday still haven't received it. Also they took a portion out because my insurance denied a claim because the office put in the wrong code, they did not refile the claim. And decided to take the money out of my refund .... still waiting on that. They finally contacted my insurance on **** so we will see now I'll be waiting for two refunds

      I paid a deposit for my wife's pregnancy towards care and delivery. I have yet to receive my deposit as it is close to three months later. I have called multiple times only to receive calls that were either disconnected or never returned. We have spoken to associates in person and have not been given any info.

      Hello,  Medical billing is not a 30 day process.  The final claim on the account was finalized and processed by Culinary Health Fund on 9/22/2023.  The refund of $1009.86 is being processed.  ********** has had a change in extensions however, the clinic or doctor's ****** has not had any messages or we would have called back to discuss.  The status of the refund can be checked by calling ************.

      Visited the office on **** St on 12/12/2022. Called and went in everyday after checking on test results was told nothing had posted. Went in on that Friday still no results. Log into online portal and there we are results posted at 12/14 with no details. Working in a medical facility and not calling pts with updates or knowing how to read any codes just says a lot about a place you trust with your vaginal health. Being left in the dark but rude front desk staff is insane. Theyre only response was we dont know why you werent called. My best friend literally had the same experience. Here it is the weekend they are not open and of course cant help with anything. Why charge for services you DONT FOLLOW UP OR COMPLETE. They dont care about us as women. Never going back!
