They are a scam, not doing honest business I took my car to purrfect auto June 6th 2025. I had a coolant leak that I was aware of. I believed it to be a coolant hose that was leaking. I had them diagnose my car and the older lady told me that it was my coolant expansion tank and my thermostat. In total it would be a 850$+ job. I said I dont think I need a thermostat because mines was working perfectly fine. I also questioned the logistics of the coolant expansion tank having a hole in it. They said that it did and I said okay how much to fix that? She said 300$. They then made me pay for my car before they even got started on it. I thought that was weird, but I payed anyways. They didnt give me my car back until right at closing time so they rushed me out of the garage and told me my car was perfectly fine. I only drove about 3 mins when I realized I was leaking coolant again in the same exact spot I was before. I couldnt bring it back because they were gone but I called them first thing in the morning and she denied any accountability and refused to service my car unless I paid more money. I then began to investigate my coolant expansion tank that they replaced and realized it was not damaged and had no holes in it. I even filled it up with water myself to see if anything leaked out and it did not. This was a complete scam. Not to mention the older lady being racist and snobby over the phone when I called back the next day. She was taunting me on the phone saying I didnt know you were a mechanic oh mister mechanic huh They replaced a perfectly working part with a cheaper part of their own and charged me 313$ for it without even fixing the actual problem. My car is just as bad if not worst since they have touched it. I ask for all of my money back at once.Initial Complaint

On 11/6/24 I took my car in to purrfect Auto usa shop #*** to get a routine oil change. After my car being in the bay for 20 minutes a worker came to me and stated that I needed a new water pump and my spark plugs needed to be replaced. They talked me into signing up with snap Finance to pay for the job in the middle of signing up I told them I have a warranty on my car and they proceed to tell me it will be covered and I still need to sign up with snap and I would just pay snap with the warranty check. They asked me to bring the car back to be worked on because they where closing and still need to order parts. I called my warranty company and find out nothing is gonna be covered. so on 11/12/24 I called snap Finance to close the account. I was directed to their special handling department. They stated since I didnt get the work done they had no problem closing the account. After they got in contact with the auto shop they told them that the work was completed and sends pictures of part receipt and a signed estimate. (Attached). Snap proceeds to tell me they can't close the account if the vendor is not complying. 11/21/24 I proceed to call the shop and talk to the ****** ******* and explain the matter in which he says yes it looked like the work wasn't done but the parts where ordered. Let me see if there's gonna be any restocking fees I'll call you back. I call back the next day seeing i haven't received a call back and the receptionist tells me ******* the manger is busy and telled me to email different department I proceed to message the email (attached) I continue to work with snap Finance to close the account but vendor is unwilling to confirm work was done. I physically went to the shop 12/4/24 and asked again for proof that work was done like they stated but all they have is a parts receipt and a signed estimate. They where unable to provide a signed invoice which they only created at that moment because I asked for one. (Attched) hoping you can help me.Initial Complaint

I went in to do a smog test it showed it was only 9.99$ so i came in around November 26, ***************************************************** that I needed a lot of things to get done from replacing the break rotators to transmission replacement they started to add services I really didnt need. So it was over 2000$ they had me for. So I applied for synchrony bank with no interest for 1 year. So I signed papers and needed to set up an appointment to Get it all fixed but when I went home I started to ask my friends if I really needed those services to be done on my car everyone told me no. My car is way too new to do it. So I end up calling the credit card company that I applied for to cancel the transaction and close out the card. So the represented said no need to go back to the consumer they will take care of it. Than after 1 month I get a bill saying I owe 2000$. So I filed a dispute and they did investigation and they said the company did service on my car and I owe them 2000$. Thats a straight lie I never did the service. So I was told to file a complaint here and few more other places.Initial Complaint

PURRFECT Auto Service # *** (*******************) is still committing crimes of fraud, really outrageous aggressive behavior and deplorable auto service. They have pattern repeating over and over with different management particularly of the new one: *************************** (AKA: ************, ****, **********, Mr. ** He has shown his identity and ex-convict manipulations when he operates this facility. He hires ex-convicts that work under the influence of substances. On 01/22/24 I went to this location for smog check in which I had to wait an hour. They have never had proper parking. They are still violating the Fire Code. The mechanics tries to drive my vehicle and he is under the influence of likely drugs. In doing so, he scratches the pain of my vehicle. I signaled him to stop. He also scratched the bumper of another car for a customer waiting in their lobby and did not notify. So, he calls his boss who calls himself **********, see the damage and then says, "we will cover the expenses". He brings another mechanics and now he stated that it is nothing. Now he wants to make it personally. He would answer my questions with other questions. He is becoming more aggressive to the point that he stands 2 cm close to my face and wanting a fist fight. This manager instead of apologizing, solve the problem or do drug test for the impair mechanic, now takes personally. I asked for a business card. He comes behind me and in front of other customers, now in the lobby, continues his show of power. I have reminded him that the various times he always lies, and he is aware and admits to his actions and tells me What are you going to do about it. Another event for a smog check, he stated that I had a water pump failure and needed a replacement. So, I go to the dealer, and they told me There is nothing wrong with your water pump. However, ************ wanted $860. Another instance, I ****** my car for oil change and now oil pan is leaking and needs replacement as it is warped and they would charge me the cost of the part from dealer price plus extras. I paid the amount, but I went to dealer to check on the price of an oil pan which was over $400. This place had charged me $680 for this so I returned. He says they can only give me store credit for oil change. Another occasion that I took another car for smog check, and he told me that I needed new brakes. It has been over 40 K more miles that I have not need brakes. Another time that I asked if they could install and balance tires. ************ told me to come back just to find out that they do not even have a tire balance machine but wanted me to leave the vehicle. There was another time that I paid for coolant flush, transmission, and engine oil change. They offer package with savings. I was there witnessing and did engine oil change but not the rest. Their answer was they missed it. Another instance, my wife ****** vehicle for Serpentine belt check and told her that it needed replacement they did this with a belt that was not for the vehicle as it was less than half the thickness of the original one. Another occasion when my wife ****** vehicle to inspect the ** unit. It turns out that they have made a needle puncture in the ** hose and would only leak when turned on needing constant refrigerant. It is to a point that you put all the pieces together to see the pattern of illegal, criminal purposely behavior. This place has and are still cheating, lying, deceiving, and operating in an unlawful way. Not only defrauding and lying all the time specially the unaware, but female customers also that must pay extra for no reason. When I demanded the coverage such as the car damage repair, this manager becomes aggressive to diminish and dilute the situation or a manipulation technique from his ex-convict experience to avoid responsibility. They lack sufficient parking and are still violating even the safety fire requirement. They do not have parking and should not be operating as such.Initial Complaint

Took my car here to get it diagnosed and payed ***** for it and they came and told me that my throttle body is not working properly and the manager Mikesaid he will fix it for about 950-1000 but then gave me a discount for $700 and that he will also throw an air filter and a another part for free as well so then I agreed to it , I asked Mr.**** to please put all my parts that they changed back in my trunk as I would like to keep it. He did not do this so the next day I start driving my car for about an hour and I start having the same issues as before and it felt as if nothing was changed with my car and it felt like it got worse. I went back to the shop to grab my parts to see what exactly was changed and when I came to tell **** that my cars issue has not been solved and that I want to know what you all changed and charged me for, **** started getti my aggressive with me and started to get loud and when pushed me with his shoulder and after he started to get loud I told him that just give me my parts so I can leave but he did not give me my parts back until he made a big scene and started to tell me that HE WILL KNOCK ME OUT AND THAT HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE POLICE , after all this I kept telling him to give me my parts so I can leave and he kept getting aggressive with me, after I get my parts back I go to another mechanic and he tells me that there is nothing wrong with my throttle body system and that who ever changed it put a cheap aftermarket part that can not be programmed , so this new mechanic put all my old parts back and reprogrammed my part and my car is better then what it was. A few days after this incident Mr.**** files a complaint with the *********************** and tell them that I was aggressive with him and that I spit on him which were all lies and not once did I get aggressive with him , I spoke with *********************** and told them the situations and they gave me a case number.Initial Complaint

On October 16th or 17th I contacted this person to get a part installed on my car and he quoted me $150 to get this part installed , I took my car to him (2019 ***** accord hybrid) I had no lights on my dashboard on except my tire pressure sensor. They called me that they installed my part and my car is ready for pick up, once I get there I noticed I have over 6 lights on and almost 9 sensor errors, I told him that my car when it came had no lights on except the tire pressure sensor and now there is a lot of things messed up with my car, the manager **** told me that they will get this fixed and I can pick it up tomorrow and I waited then he called saying all the codes are erased and the sensors are fixed and when I got there there is even more lights on and the car is not responding like it used to, so I talked with him again and he tells me well the part you brought me is wrong and your car has sensor that we didnt know about so now you got to buy a whole new rim for you car for it to turn off the light, I also told him to give me my original part and every other parts that you tampered with back to me and he didnt even give me my parts back so eventually I knew he didnt know what he was doing with my car so I take the car to the Dealership and they give me a quote for over $5000 , they tell me that my sensors were pulled on and tampered with and someone tried to snap them off and that my axel is broken and the part that they changed was install incorrectly so I spent $1712 on the car at the dealership to get it semi fixed so it is drivable and I still have lights and everything on and I still need to change almost another $3000 worth of stuff to get my car back to where it was originally ,I spoke with **** again and he told me NO THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WE DIDNT DO ANYTHING ELSE WE ONLY CHANGED YOUR PART YOUR BROUGHT US AND WE DIDNT MESS WITH YOUR SENSOR OR **** which I told him Im sure that ***** dealership is couldnt lie to meInitial Complaint

I have been a customer of ****************** Auto for approximately 8 years. I have always received excellent service from this location until my last smog test on October 16, 2023. I brought my car in for its yearly smog check and I arrived around 2:30pm. There was one customer ahead of me and one customer's car just being completed. The technician apologized for the longer than normal wait and said he would be with me shortly. When he initially approached me, he appeared to be disoriented, had very slow speech and possibly was under the influence of some type of drug. This interaction caused me to question whether I should still get my car smog checked. Prior to taking my car to Purrfect Auto for my yearly smog test, my car and driver's side door lock cylinder was in excellent condition. While I was waiting for my car to be brought to the smog test area, I noticed the technician was gone for approximately 20 minutes. When he returned, he informed me that my door lock was broken and he couldn't get into my car without using my key fob. PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT PURRFECT AUTO, I AM 100% CERTAIN THAT MY DOOR LOCK CYLINDER WAS NOT DAMAGED. As I was paying for my smog test service, I asked the cashier if I could get a quote to fix the door lock cylinder. I asked to speak with the Manager but he was unavailable. I left there upset and went to the ******* Dealership to ask them for a quote to fix the same door lock cylinder. It is my honest believe that the employee from Purrfect Auto damaged the door lock cylinder as he attempted to get into my car and was unsuccessful. On October 25th I returned to Purrfect Auto to speak with ****, the General Manager about the broken door lock cylinder. He didn't believe that I check my car every time I get in it and described his employee as being disoriented when I told him his employee appeared to be high on drugs, had glassy looking eyes and was having trouble focusing. I took my vechile for repair of a loud clicking noise when driving. **** the owner/manager told me i needed a new engine and that it would be covered under my extended warrenty. He said the repair could take 1-2 months but to spead up the process, he recommended i apply for fiancing and not to worry because i would get a check from the warrenty company and i could pay back those loans. He performed the work but the warrenty company denied the claim. The warrenty company said it was used and that is why they didnt cover the warrenty, however **** said the engine was new. 2 days after the work was done, the car started over heating which a month before they put the engine in they had fixed the over heating issue. **** said he would fix it and he was working with the warrenty company and not to worry everything would be taken care of. 5 days i took the car and they kept it morning until they closed and would tell me they were too busy to fix the overheating and just kept making me bring it back each day. **** scammed me into taking out multiple loans for according to him a new engine that would be covered under my extended warrenty, he promised me i would have a check before the first payment was due, he had repeatedly promised me he would fix the error with the warrenty company and now he is ignoring my calls and email requests for a full report on everything he worked on my car. I have a heart condition among other health issues, and the stress from all this has caused my health problems to get worse. This business has complaints online, yelp, ****** and BBB. I want this company investigated for fraud as i feel they are not replacing parts like they say they are, they are misleading customers, overcharging and making people apply for loans with false information and promises of they will get a check from the warrenty company to pay them off so they can complete the work faster thinking they are helping the customer when in fact putting customers in debt.Initial Complaint

I came to this business to get my convertible top fixed on May 16th, 2023, I was encouraged to get the other issues with my car repaired, meaning all the issues would be fixed and the car would be as good as new. All of the work was financed and I was told it would be done that weekend. It has been almost 3 months now and every week since then, Ive been told lies about the condition of my car, that things were done when they were not, yet I was told it was done and to come pick it up, only having to yet again keep bringing it back the next day because its now breaking down. There has also been new problems my car has now and problems they claim my car has because they didnt do a proper diagnostic. I am not happy with this service and would like some help. It has been clear and related to me that these employees do not know what they are doing with my car thus the improper diagnostic, the delays, the new problems, and the lies. *** spent over $1,200 in Uber rides to work and home which I was not intending to spend at all. It is a ridiculous amount and it has put me far behind in my bills, I can no longer keep this up or I will be homeless. I need help with this issue immediately.Initial Complaint

Three months ago I paid Perrfect Auto $5,100 to fix my ******************************************************** a rental at this point I could loose my job and they dont care at all but they took my money and that is money I dont have I took a loan for $2,300 to be able to pay them and they keep lying to me at this point and I do not know what to do next. I am still paying my car I still owe $7,000. Please please help me get my money back and I believe they ruin my car so they have to pay me the $5,100 and $7,000 a total of $12,100 plus the Ubers I been taking to work and I even rented a car for three days for $200 I been so stressed over this place took my money and wont fix my car and they still have my car.
