    Took car in 3 months ago and the $219 per hour mechanic said I needed both of my fuel pumps replaced and then botched the repair and now it leaks gas inside the car. $3100 in to it and Its been back 2 more times and they cant fix and wont give me my money back. **** says the odds of both fuel pumps going out is less than 1%Update 9/10/2024 I took my car back and left it with them all day and they tried to tell me there was no problem. Update 9/25/2025 I took my car to **** of ********* and had them inspect it. See video ****************************************** 10/11/2024 Called the store to get my money back and was denied, Asked for their business license number and was hung up on.

    On 5/23/2024 i went into the meineke for an oil change, i proceeded to leave my car there for the service as i live around the corner. I waited a couple hours then received a call that my car has been serviced and is ready for pickup. Also, they told me that they did a ************************************** my brake pads being at 4mm. If you know anything about brakes 4mm is very low but you can run your car about another 1000 miles on them. I was fully aware of my brakes being at 4mm but i was not ready to fix them. I'd been driving my car for the day that i brought it in for service and there was no sound at all on my brakes. After i received the car back there was a significant noise coming from the front driver side brake. Mind you i dropped the car off at about 3pm after running errands and there was noise AT ALL coming from my brakes. I DID NOT go in there for brakes, i went in to get an OIL CHANGE. So my complaint is that after hearing this info about my car i was told it would be 1100 dollars to fix the front and back brakes. I was told that no wheel was removed during the service, i went to get my car detailed the day before i went in so how are there black oil finger and hand prints on my rim when i get it back. Directly after i left i took my car home which is about 1 min away driving, parked it and didn't get back in it until the next morning (3/24/2024). Then when i came to a stop in the car there was a definite scraping noise and LOUD!!!! im not mechanic but theres no way a brake goes from 4mm to bald in 12 hours. When i took it back to ask them about it they were very dismissive and told me about them being able to fix it for 1100 dollars but nobody knew anything about the service. I didnt know that i could send a complaint to BBB until my boss told me about it. Thats why it took so long for me to report it. I think theres a parts scam going on there, They took my brakes off and replaced them i dont have proof but im not an idiot either.

    I almost died on the road. My husband took out an EasyPay to pay for 500 bucks worth of car work. Sadly, the oil change was not completed. We attempted to call the location immediately, no answer. We couldn't drive far as we had NO oil. We took the car to PepBoys who discovered no oil change was done. It was pitch-black. Also, the mechanic left parts loose which caused the oil to leak to empty in just 1 day. We had to pay an additional 100+ bucks. The manager said he would pay us for the oil change and cancel the EasyPay. It's nearly 1 month later and we have called and driven down in an attempt to work with him. Our oil change was done with him before New Years Day. We have lost hundreds of dollars. Also, the light they supposedly changed goes in and out. I almost died because our car choked up due to NO OIL in our Audi Q5. Note: PepBoys wrote an official statement advising Meinekes faults and lack of work.

    Our vehicle was dropped off for a water leak issue in April 2022. The shop surveyed the vehicle and told us the water pump needed to be replaced. After a week of no news from the store we found out that they damaged the engine block so bad that it needed to be replaced. They moved it to another store (without our knowledge) as we found out the entire shop (Sunset location) had been fired. We eventually got our truck back in June and within 3 days it broke down again, they didnt correctly or safely repair the engine and the transmission failed. We then took it to a **** dealership and begrudgingly Meineke got their insurance involved. Now, with minimal communication we are still waiting on our vehicle to be repaired. 9 months after they damaged it.
