Performance Motorsports NEVER gave me an estimate for what I wanted done for my car. I asked him how much the job would be, he told me he would run a diagnostic and he will give me a written estimate. I showed up to check on what needs to be done and the bill was handed to me. The bill was 9k, for the first bill, he wanted me to pay, some of it. I never agreed to this price. I even told the owner REMOVEDthat this isnt a 9k job. And he gave me a sad excuses for the work he did. Im very familiar with what auto shops charge for work. I have had multiple classic cars that I restore and sell. I only paid it because he would have kept my car by putting a lien on it. And at this point nothing was finished. The car was not even running. I asked him how close to being done and he tells me its a real close. When I brought the car, it had everything new in it. The motor and all accessories, transmission, and digital dash were already installed. All I needed was for him to finish connecting these systems so it runs. He completed the car and the bill was at 14k. I never in my life would agree to paying this. He never gave me an estimate. I had no choice but to pay or else I wouldnt be able to get my car. This car is a Restomod 1968 Chevelle that Ive been working on for a 2 years. It is an investment to me because I plan to sell it. So im not able to wait while he has my car hostage. Please help me and bring this business to justice. I know this isnt the first time Performance Motorsports has done something like this. The bad reviews are all over REMOVED. Also the attorney I spoke to is familiar with this business. I know in the state of Nevada a auto shop is required by law to give a written estimate which was never given to me. This is 100% unethical and illegal to scam people like this. I have all the receipts and the first initial document I signed when I left the vehicle. It states what I wanted done to the vehicle.

Mr REMOVEDhas a hard time keeping his story straight. He first told me that he bought the car the way it was and his goal was to fix it and make a profit from the sale. When I saw the car and its horrible condition I told him that that was not going to be possible. At that time we made an extensive list of repairs that were needed, we informed him of our Shop rate $150 per hour and that the work he wanted was custom work .  His car needed the wiring  redone. Fuel system plumbed, Brake lines fabricated and install. Ac system wired and filled. Custom trans cooler lines made, Transmission linkage made and installed, power steering lines remade and installed, wire in all the power windowsand adjust, There arent any estimates given on "custom" work. He agreed and asked us to proceed. As we were working on the car Mr REMOVEDwould stop in 2-3 times per week and check progress at wich time we would show him the work we had done and present him with the bill. I asked for a payment from him once the bill  had gotten up to $4000. He came in a week later with $2000 and infomed me that he would go that evening and get the balance from his girlfriend. He didn't show up for the next two weeks so I called him again and said he needed to come pay the balance and that he could stop work on his car so that he had time to catch up on his finances. He told me he liked our work and diid not want to take it anywhere else. I did feel bad for the guy and performed many tasks on the car with out charging him. He pulled up here one day to see his car and the one he was driving was leaking coolant. I brought it to his attention and repaired while he waited at no charge. He didn't even say thank you. After we re did all of the repairs on the car that the other "shop" perormed and repaired all of the stripped out bolt holes and got the car running we found out that the transmission he had in the car wasn't any good. He asked for my help again with it and beyond my better judgement I did indeed help him out. The company that he purchased the trans from would not warranty it or help with the cost in any way.  The car sat here for 3 more weeks and I kept calling Mr REMOVEDand he would not answer. I let him pay a guy to rebuild it on the weekend and reinstall it in his car. I let them use my shop for this at no charge . The car was here for three months getiing work done. When the rebuilt transmission was finished and in the car I call Mr. REMOVEDand told him that it was in but I can not test drive the  car with the rotten tires on it, No registration and no insurance, I made notes of this on his attached invoice and he signed it. Every day and hour that was spent on the car is logged and accounted for on his invoice. I never asked him for money up front. I only asked for him to make payments towards his bill. I never said that I would Lien sale his car. I put him in front of other customers to try help him out and I truly regret it. My goal is to have 100 percent customer satisfaction . The day he finally came to pick up the car I had one of my staff repair his tail lights and head lights at no charge so he could drive home, even though I begged him to tow it .  I have already contacted My attorney on this matter.
