My first impression was pleasant and even commended the owners. I went to ********** Auto shop to fix my AC. I mentioned to the receptionist that my AC wasn't blowing as cold and wanted to check to see what was the issue. I also asked for the estimated cost to re-gas if that was the issue and was given a quotation of $217. The technician took the vehicle into the shop. I was assuming that they were about to do the inspection and I would be informed of the issue and cost for service. After about 45 I inquired why was this taking so long and was told that the machine was still checking the vehicle system. After an hour had elapsed I asked to enter the service center to inquire what was taking so long for diagnosis. I was told by HIS that the machine was still diagnosing and our conversation evolved into the cost of the diagnostic machine and how expensive it was . I asked why such an upgraded machine took so long to diagnose the issue and not much explanation was given. After about waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes I was presented with a bill for $306 . I then inquired why I am paying so much for a diagnosis and was informed that they did the work on the vehicle . I asked why I wasn't told what the issue was and the cost to fix it before performing the work. This is when everything went downhill. The Hers went off, suggesting that she would take out the gas from the vehicle but I still needed to pay for the service. I stated that I did not ask you to work on the vehicle but rather what was the issue and what would be the cost to fix. Based on the cost I would decide to continue or not. I wasn't given this opportunity and was treated horribly by the Hers and accusing me of not wanting to pay. His did his best to help resolve my dispute but, ultimately I paid $267 with no explanation of what is wrong or what was fixed with my car. Their receipt has a disclaimer authorizing repair work but it is presented after the work is done which is deceptive business practices.

The customer had called while in the road traveling, the office gave him a price for a general hook up, recover, leak test and charge for a r134 system. When the customer arrived, the car was pulled in and the temp checked and verified the temp was warmer. The vehicle was determined to be the newer R1234YF system. The 134 systems take 1.5 hours and the newer YF systems take 1.75 hours for the machine to run the process. During the process the customer had come out into shop and asked how it was going and why it was taking so long and I had explained to him that the newer systems are more advanced, and the process takes longer. He had asked if we had found anything and I told him that we had actually found his ac was undercharged by 6oz. he was happy we had found something as the previous shop had said it was ok. We completed the service and he had stated that it usually reads ok until its driven. I had a technician go on a test drive to make sure he was happy with the repair. He was happy it actually worked liked it should. when presented the bill he was not happy that it was 89$ more than quoted over the phone. We had told him that he was quoted for the wrong system over the phone, then add in the cost of refrigerant and tax, fees ect and he wanted to know what we were going to do about it. After no luck explaining why the cost difference I lowered the service fee to the 217 price for 134 and since he was so unhappy I told him this is as low as i could go as we are now taking a loss but here is your keys, if you are still unhappy you are welcome to leave with out paying or if you feel we are fair now you can pay the lower price. He paid and left.

Unbelievable is all I can say.Dropped my truck off to have the ** serviced since there is a leak. H&H pressure tested it and said the ******** valve was leaking. They replaced it and recharged the system. I picked the truck up at 7pm and drove home to Eureka (115 miles away). The ** system was blowing cool but not cold. I then drove it the next morning and it was blowing hot. I called and got one of the ignorant women that works there. She demanded that I bring it in right now and I told her that I live in Eureka and I need to get a ride and this is a big inconvenience. She got nasty with me and told me not to get ornery. I told her, "What do you expect? I'm not happy about this. I paid for a service and it wasn't done." She then got nastier with me and told me I was being an A**** I returned the favor and called her a nastier name. Then she started yelling, telling me to EFF OFF and go somewhere else. Eventually, she hung up on me but I did manage to call back and tell her that I will be filing a police report for theft. I have never experienced such nasty, ignorant, and disgusting behavior from any business. Welcome to inbred Elko where the Her of the business has the male gender parts and the His part of the business wears the dress. Now I am out $320 and still have no **. UNBELIEVABLE. And after writing this review, I am getting harassing texts from H&H staff, telling me to eat their *SS.This business owner needs to be reminded that, "The customer is not always right but is always the customer."

the customer contacted us and informed us the ac started to blow hot again, we told him we had a slow spot in the day and if he wanted to bring it in we could jump right on it, the customers reply to that was " IT AINT THAT *UCKIN EASY" he was told there was no need to raise his voice and he proceeded to call *** a ignorant ****, at that point we informed him he was no longer welcome back at the shop. The customer then called back several times yelling and screaming. We tried to jump right on and correct the issue and the customer chose to act as he did.

Awful shop, I had a misfire leading to the catalytic converter going bad. I was charged **** dollars for 4 spark plugs, a new cat, and the cleared the engine codes. Within 24 hours of having my car back, the misfire returned. And at the end of the week, when I got up to highway speed on I-80 it had a massive exhaust leak. I ended up fixing the misfire myself. And my mechanic back in **** fixed the exhaust. It turned out the exhaust was plugged with chunks of the catalytic converter, which needs to be replaced again. They did very little diagnostics, and instead just made assumptions and threw parts at the car. The car left the shop with more problems than it had at arrival. At this point I'm suspicious that they even replaced the cat at all.TLDR they are a total rip off, they will charge an arm and a leg. And you will end up paying someone else to not only fix the problem, but also to fix what they did wrong

When customer came in he specifically told us what he wanted looked at and told us his other mechanic would fix the rest of his issues. Customers car was towed in and on his intake sheet he put down that the car had a horrible misfire and wouldnt engage in gear. Our company sent **** a repair list that he could approve or deny work . He denied all but the spark plugs and cat. convertor . **** a week later **** came back in with a complaint that the car had a misfire again . Customer sat with us while we ran a scan on the car with no issues, There were no misfire codes present. When the customer was talked to about the issue and that there wasn't anything puling from the scan the customer then said " well , Its intermittent and while I was driving to your shop , the problem stopped." We then told customer if you have any other issues or can get the car to misfire again , bring it in right away while its happening so we can scan and see what the issue is . The customer then shook our hand and left. We never heard anything back, so we figured the problem was handled
