    Alert:

In February 2022, BBB Serving New Mexico and Southwest Colorado investigated Global Enrollment Center LLC business practices. This investigation was prompted by complaints and Scam Tracker reports.

Consumers have alleged the following through BBB complaints:
-Website name very similar to a government website. They asked for ALL my personal information such as social security number, date of birth, place of employment, place of residency, credit card number - all of which I provided thinking I was in a government website. They charged me $149.95 Of that my credit card has paid $100. I am disputing the rest and have changed my CC number. I have reached out to this company via email and phone (busy all the time 317-715-7667 to no avail. I am petrified that they now have all my personal information!! Their email is: ********** (Global Entry ) Is there any way to stop these impostors?
-In December of 2021, I decided to enroll in the global entry program with US Customs for my wife and I. I used Google to 'apply for global entry". The link that came up looked 'official' for the US Customs Global entry site and I clicked it. Apparently, the Global Enrollment Center's website mimics the US Customs website and I believed it was an official government website. I gave them all my personal information and was charged $149.95 on top of the $100.00 global entry application fee. I would like to state I believe this site to be very misleading and am concerned that my information may not be treated confidentially since I thought I was on an official US government website. I have tried to dispute the charge through my credit card company, but the Global Enrollment Center people said that I did receive the service they offer (what it was I do not know). I have had to dispute all of the $100 app fees paid through their site (tried several times to get them paid) and had to pay the Bureau of Customs directly the $100 app fee through the official US Customs website. Too my knowledge, I received no service from this company, find this a very deceptive practice, and would like my $149.95 refunded.

In February 2022, BBB checked their websites to determine when they were registered and found: apply-global-entry.com was on 06/18/2021, globalenrollmentcenter.com was on 08/05/2021, global-entry-file.com was on 06/19/2021, and globaltravelerassist.com was on 06/17/2021.

BBB made inquiries to Global Enrollment Center LLC via email and US Postal mail asking the following:
-Physical address in New Mexico for their company and a local phone number.
-Physical and mailing addresses, phone numbers and websites for all locations.
-A list of officers for Global Enrollment Center LLC.
-Sample copies of all Global Travel Assist written agreements with consumers used at any time in the past 30 days.

To date, BBB has not received a response from Global Enrollment Center LLC. Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of the business.

Should you have difficulty with a purchase, immediately contact your payment provider such as your credit card company, your bank, electronic draft company, prepaid card, etc. Filing a dispute is time sensitive and should not be delayed.

You may also want to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and/or the Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crime Complaint Center. Consumers can also contact their local Attorney General’s office. BBB also suggests consumers file BBB Scam Tracker Reports

I used this website to apply for a Global entry pass. I immediately (5 minutes later) realized it was the wrong website and requested a refund for which they offered me 25% of the fee I paid.
