    I first saw Dr. Jared French for a comprehensive evaluation on May 23 of this year. At the time I discussed having a new full upper denture and implants on my lower teeth. I thought this was understood however I was told that I would have to have all of my lower teeth removed because I didn’t have enough bone to support implants. This was a surprise because I had been told by several other dentists that I’d seen in the the past to never remove my remaining natural teeth. It's my understanding that dentists are totally familiar with the process of grafting bone from one part of the mandible to fill in the support needed. I pushed back on Dr. French as well as his assistant but I was told that the teeth would have to be removed, so I reluctantly opted to do a partial at the bottom instead. We started treatment on August 10th. When I went to pick up my upper dentures on September 21st my partial denture was also there. I was told that I would have another appointment before the final placement of the partial, therefore I was confused. I was told they wanted to surprise me. It was difficult to get the partial in (and out), but after a couple of tries it went in. It was painful but worse, there was a visible space between the upper denture and the lower partial. When I pointed it out Dr. French dismissed my concerns and told me it was because of bone loss. The next day I consulted with the owner of a denture laboratory. He told me that in his 40 years doing this work, this was the worst job he'd ever seen. A week later, I consulted with another dentist. They both confirmed my suspicions that the work that was done was inferior. On September 23rd I went by Dr. French’s office and presented what I was told to Dr. French and requested a refund. He was visibly angry and even raised his voice at me. Not only do I not trust him, I am actually afraid to allow him to do any more work on my mouth.
