      My family and I had a 3-night vacation planned in *******, **, from May 29th through May 31st of 2024. The condo we rented through "Lodging in Ruidoso Vacation Rentals" was one we had stayed at before and we enjoyed our stay very much. However, there was a major fire in the mountains close to this condo and the entire area was in "Ready, Set, Go" evacuation status. I called (4 times) before our stay began requesting to change the dates of our vacation. I then emailed them requesting someone contact me to discuss changing the dates of our stay. And then, once again, I tried to call them. With all of the phone calls, I left detailed messages. We never asked to get out of our agreement with them; simply asked to change the dates due to the fire situation. (There is a clause in the agreement which states dates can be changed).DO not use "Lodging in Ruidoso Vacation Rentals". THEY do not care if you are out over $600 because of a fire. THey do not return phone calls. THEY do not respond to emails.
