      I reached out to CCR tile contractors, August 2021 for a quote to lay tile in my home due to a flood that occurred. While he came out and did a quote I also inquired about him laying tile on my stairs and second floor, where there was also damage Robert A********* agreed to the work and gave me additional charges for the additional work that would be performed. I had got ahead of the insurance and purchased all the material that needed to be used for the work, Robert and I had a conversation about the upstairs, and I specifically asked him if tile would be a good way to go because I didn’t want anything to happen to the flooring and I asked him if I needed to buy additional product that would have included self leveling cement Detra so it would be a good lay and would have no problems. Robert stated to me no I have a special glue that will work with motion and walking and you will have no problems so I went ahead and had him lay the tile now we are September 2023, and all tile upstairs has become loose, including the two landings on the staircases , I reached out to Robert per completion letter and warranty he has provided and is good through the year 2026. Robert has come out one time to look at the issue agreed to fix the problem but also started to make excuses as to oh, you might have a decking problem, which Asked if I needed to buy all those extra materials so this would not happen from the get-go reached out to Robert numerous times and was given numerous excuses as in oh my job got ran over. I was busy I couldn’t make it out. My family got Covid, and I keep hearing excuse after excuse excuse , there were a couple times where he sent out one of his workers to finish trim on the walls and even some of that was not properly done but here we are now January 2024, since I reached out back in September 2023 to get the stair decking and stair hallway and bathroom, corrected due to tiles being cracked and have become loose.
