On 5-27-2025 I took my 2004 Jeep Wrangler to Immaculate Auto for an oil change. I had an appointment for 3:00pm.
    1. When I dropped off my vehicle I informed the Tech that I jump started my vehicle, if there were any additional charges I was right next door at a beauty appointment (in the same building). I was to be informed of any additional charges. I was never informed of additional charges
    2. When I went to pick up my vehicle at 5:00pm, I was informed that the Tech had taken a late lunch and had to wait for my vehicle (it was already torn apart) - and I quote - "he's Hangry"
    3. The clerk informed me that my battery was dead and that they were replacing it. I put a stop to this as it was not authorized! I informed Immaculate that I would replace my own battery
    4. When my vehicle was finally finished (without the battery replacement) I received an invoice of $303.07. I explained and disputed that my bill should only be $148.07 for the oil change since that was all that was authorized. I was informed that "auto repair shops have different prices" and that I could not pick up/retrieve my vehicle unless I pay the bill.
I was completely taken advantage of and ripped off!!!
According to NM State Law - Title 12, Chapter 2, Part 6: "It is an unfair or deceptive trade practice for an automotive repair facility to fail to give an estimate of repairs that exceed $100.
THE CHARGE FOR THE "CHECK BATTERY" WAS NOT AUTHORIZED NOR DID I REQUEST IT.
THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO REIMBURSE ME $155 FOR THE "CHECK BATTERY"

Lastly, my trailer brake was not hooked back up to the battery correctly (the positive was on the negative and negative on the positive). This should have NEVER happened since Immaculate did not have authorization to work on the battery or disconnect/replace anything. A photograph is attached.

It concerns me that this business takes advantage of people and treats women like we are ignorant and obviously has unqualified Technicians. They take advantage of people
