The companies in all three states appear to be linked by website similarities such as language. In addition, the invoices mailed to investors from the businesses in Albuquerque and Phoenix are virtually identical in language and appearance.
According to a press release issued by BBB of St. Louis, Missouri, complainants have alleged that the businesses initially contacts consumers by phone, convincing them to invest in Internet marketing opportunities; representatives then inform investors that their money will be used to set up websites, in result the business will then market the sites to potential customers of Amazon and other well-known companies. Complainants allege that the company promises investors they will receive payments based on website “hits”, and will recoup all of their money within a few months and then receive a regular commission every three months. But no money ever arrived and, eventually, complainants informed BBB that the businesses stopped responding to their phone calls and letters.
