I rented room on 3/23/24 and paid $900 for a month. The room reserved for me had been rented the night before, but was told they would have the room for me the next couple of days and would be in staying in different room in the meantime. No problem. On the 3rd night when moved to room originally reserved for me (smoking room) a bed bug was on one of my pillows. I did not know what it was at first so I took a picture to zoom it on my phone. I could not sleep after that. I reported it to office owners and showed them the pictures. I was moved to I different toward the back of motel by garbage bins. The room had broken windows with tape, door had no seals to keep bugs out. Lots of roaches. When complained, was told window had been ordered and they would spray all bug medicine. They sprayed (b-gone) Which didn't help and made more roaches come out! On April 12th I could no longer stand to be there, especially after I found out they had just cleaned out another room for bugs and roaches opposite rooms on other side of wall! I went and asked for refund and was told by owners, that since I paid for a month but was leaving early they would be charging me nightly rate and therefore not entitled to a refund. I told them since I had moved in I had only had the first 2 days sleep. And I could not sleep with bugs walking on my bed and walls. Showed then the pictures of roaches walking on my headboard and they still refused to refund me even though I was leaving a almost two weeks sooner due to not being comfortable and high stress anxiety over all the bugs. I still have all the pictures/videos of bed bug and live roaches crawling on my headboard and broken taped window. I also took pictures of bites I received while staying. I am not sure what kind of bites they are. I suspect fleas. I went and stayed with my cousin had to go to laundry to wash all my clothes in super high heat. (Dryer at hotel was also now broken too and they didn't kn ow when it was going to be fixed.
