Response to BBB Complaint Review ID: ****** Complainant: ***** **** Date: June 15, 2025 Submitted by: ** Corley ***** Grants, NM We respectfully dispute the claims made by Ms. **** in her complaint and wish to provide a factual account of her purchase and the events that ***********. **** purchased a 2015 **** F-150 Lariat from ** Corley **** on May 28, 2025, at a price of $32,000. This vehicle was fairly and competitively priced. Based on the ****** Blue Book valuation dated June 12, 2025, the vehicles market value ranged between $31,469 and $34,964 depending on condition and other factors. The price paid was right in the middle of this range, confirming the fairness and reasonableness of the transaction. We engaged in open negotiations with Ms. **** over the course of two days. She expressed a need for a truck with towing capability and was provided with a vehicle that met those requirements. At no point was there pressure to purchase; the decision was ultimately hers after being presented with available options and full information. We are sympathetic to Ms. ***** personal situation but must point out that connecting a non-**** 9-pin trailer plug to the *** trailer wiring system is not recommended and can cause unintended electrical issues. Any malfunctions stemming from such a modification are not due to a defect or negligence by the ************* for her claims of poor communication, we acknowledge that some messages were received over a weekend, when the dealership was closed. However, our team did make follow-up attempts and provided support as soon as business hours ********** is unfortunate and unfair that Ms. **** turned to public forums with inaccurate statements. Claims such as being charged $38,000 are factually incorrecther signed purchase agreement reflects a sale price of $32,000. Additionally, her finance documentation, including the lender, was properly processed and provided, as confirmed when she contacted our team and the lender directly.Conclusion:Ms. **** was treated respectfully and fairly throughout the entire process. The vehicle was sold at a competitive price, consistent with independent market values. While we regret that she is dissatisfied, the dealership acted appropriately and professionally at every stage.Sincerely,****** *. On Thursday, May 1, 2025 I took in my 2018 Ford expedition to have it serviced for a transmission fluid change at Corleys Ford. **** with the service center advised to get a transmission flush due to the mileage being 67,000 miles. I picked it up and paid nearly $500, drove it to Albuquerque Friday evening, for my kids basketball games for AAU. Drove it home that night, Saturday morning woke up early drove to Albuquerque for more games. Near route 66. Casino feels like somebody hit me from behind because the transmission kicked that hard. Proceeded to go to Albuquerque, the transmission started acting up more and more while turning on I 25 to go to UNM, lost power on I 25 and nearly got hit from behind. Once at a stoplight, smoke started coming from the bottom of the car and we were able to get it to UNM and park it there. I immediately called **** from Corley’s Ford in Grants, I advised her what happened and she asked me to get it to a Ford dealership in Albuquerque. I dropped it off at Power Ford in Albuquerque, upon inspection, it was determined that the transmission plug was not placed correctly and leaked out transmission fluid, causing damage, and the loss of power. Power Ford recommended to Corley‘s Ford in Grants one of two things to either change out the bands and gears in the transmission or change out the transmission as a whole. Power Ford advised me to fight to change out the transmission as a whole. Once I called Corley‘s Ford to discuss this with ****, she said yes we will get that done and I will call you back by the afternoon. Not only did I have to call back but they told me they are only going to approve the cheaper part of the fix instead of doing the right thing due to their negligence and replace the whole transmission. I am beyond frustrated or mad or disappointed or whatever you wanna call it with Corley’s Ford due to the fact that they placed my families life at risk by their negligence.

We would like to address the complaint filed by ****** ******* regarding his experience with our dealership. The customer has had possession of the vehicle since June and has driven it over ****** miles during this time. Despite multiple efforts on our part to finalize the financing process, the customer has neither returned the vehicle nor provided the necessary documentation to complete the loan agreement.Furthermore, during one interaction, the customer had an assault rifle in the vehicle while children were present. This concerning situation, along with the customers refusal to cooperate, necessitated the involvement of law enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone involved, including our staff, other customers, and those in the customers vehicle. Our dealership is committed to operating with fairness, professionalism, and transparency. We strive to treat all our customers with respect; however, we also expect customers to fulfill their obligations and engage in the process in good faith. If further clarification or additional information is needed, we are more than willing to provide it.

This company isn't worth a one star, my new truck was there for 3 days they never touched it. Thought this was funny. This is how they treat veterans. They wouldn't have anything without us. My truck is still not running
