I bought a ****** washer from Discount Appliance Center. The washer I chose was a stainless washer. A few days later the guy came to install the washer. He said he could not install it because of the floor tile. I was desperat so I filled up the tile. (My neighbor & I installed a Fridged Air in the same location without filling up tile.) Two days later he showed up with a white washer. I told him that was not the washer I bought & to take it back. He said ok but the stainless washer was sold & would take at least 2 months to get a new one. I could not wait 2 months so I said go ahead & put in the white one & I would deal with the company for the difference. The washer would not dry dishes so I called & they sent a repairman out. He said the unit that dries was not working & he would order a new one. Less than 2 weeks later, the washer quit working. I called again & the repairman said the top unit was bad & he would order a new one. After a few weeks in Feb, I called & asked him to bring me another machine & ignored me & said waiting for parts. I called every week or two & got the same answer, waiting for parts. On April 15 I called ****************** at the number on the warranty in Canada. They told me they always keep parts. The lady said to have them call with the part numbers & they will send them to Discount Appliance Center. I called & told the guy who answered, what ****** said. I'm convinced they thought they could wear me out. I asked them a dozen times why should I wait for you to get parts? Bring me another (new) machine I paid for. I 86 years old, widowed, retired, on a budget. I do not need this headache. All I want is my money back & for the dealer to come & get this piece of junk he calls a dishwasher out of my house! Funny thing is about 3 hours after the sheriff served him notice, his repairman showed up at my door and said he had the parts and was there to install them. I ran him off! Can you imagine the service I would have if I continued to use this company? After 8 months I'm out 893.38 & I'm stuck with a piece of junk. "
