    On 9/27/22 I had my transmission rebuilt by a mechanic. I took it back to him today 8/7/23 after a gear slip on the freeway and the engine light code comming on. He confirmed that it needs to be rebuilt but would have to charge 1,000.00 to do the repair. It is written under "1 year warranty "
    "12k" , and I am over 12k miles since the repair, however it can be interpreted that before 1 year should still be covered.

    I don't feel I received a satisfactory response from this repair shop. ********* was upset that I felt that he should do the repairs for free, thus being an honorable repair person.

    I am very hurt that this 3,900 dollar cash repair only lasted me 10* months.

    I received a text message from ********* ***** about this problem. I also informed him that I no longer own the Transmission Shop and he would have to deal with the new owner. I also read his complaint via the text he sent me. I informed him that if I still owned the shop the warranty clearly states 12 month 12000 miles and by his own admittance is over the mileage. I informed him that by contract, his warranty is up and ********* has kept up his part of the contract. ******** was trying to offer a solution by fixing the transmission again for a fraction of the price which he has no Obligation to under warranty. I am only writing this response because customer has put me in the middle of this problem.
