I hired Whitlock for a new roof in Oct '22. There have been issues from day 1 with the project that was 11/22-23. Sent email 11/25 with a long list of issues. Was told a foreman would be out on 11/28 to look at the issues. Was told gutter repair/replace would be done the end of Dec. On 1/6/23 they accepted responsibility for everything & apologized for the inconvenience and all my issues were resolved. Received final bill at that time. Emailed them 1/8 that none of the roof issues were corrected & requested to meet with the owner. He & an ***** ******* rep met on 1/20 & I was told everything was cosmetic. On 1/23 a big wind caused the ridge to fly up; clearly not cosmetic. On 1/24&25 workers were here to take care of the issues. 2 days hardly seems 'cosmetic'. Met with owner on 2/6 for final walk thru. I questioned the ice & water barrier being installed in valleys & at end wall due to no proof & given all else that had happened I was not confident. Was 'guaranteed' by owner it was done & if I wanted it proven I'd have to pay time/material for them to tear it up &show me. Was accused by owner that I'd just 'keep coming up with things'. I had asked for a discount & was told he had lost money on my project so no. He stated 'homeowners don't usually get up and check their roofs when we're done'. He offered 2 $25 gift cards, to which I said he could give them to my nephew for his inconvenience (he was present at both meetings to look out for me). Final gutter replacement took place on 2/8. I found proof the ice barrier was not installed on the end wall but still uncertain about the valleys, owner is unaware of this. He didn't have the best attitude at final walk thru so I don't feel comfortable dealing with him anymore. What was supposed to be a 2-3 day job has stretched to over 2 1/2 months. While several of the issues were eventually made better there is still a large problem with the ice shield,2+ months of stress, clean-up I had to do, etc. I have lost all faith
