This is a warranty, breach of contract, and deceptive business practices complaint. We have maintained a service contract with Mechanical Control Solutions since we purchased our AC in 2016. We have a contract stating that “Maintaing a club membership extends the labor warranty on our installed equipment up to 10 years.” And our service agreement states that there is a 24 hour emergency service. We called about our non functioning AC and were told we had to wait a week for service. Then on the day of service we were told that someone else would have to come to check for a leak. Several days later, we were told that the coil that was replaced by MCS in 2022 had to be replaced again. We waited for the part to be ordered and to be fixed as it was previously under our warranty and service agreements. After 3 weeks of waiting, we were notified that technicians would be out to fix the AC. The day of service, we were told that the bill would be $4,000. This was the first we heard of a charge after weeks of waiting. We reminded ***** in the billing office of our warranty for labor/ parts. She told us that we had failed to register the AC unit with the manufacturer. We called Lennox, they had our AC unit registered and agreed to pay for the parts necessary to install the coil. The bill was reduced to $3,000 but MCS refused to honor the labor warranty because they are now ACE Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, and Electric. We were never notified that the warranty was no longer in place and our VISA card was charged monthly to MCS for our club membership up through April when we requested service. We were given a bill and our VISA once again charged to MCS- not ACE. I have requested a copy of the service paperwork explaining exactly what the technicians fixed on the AC unit, an itemized list with labor and parts specified, a copy of the new service membership with ACE, and a written warranty. My requests via email and phone have gone unanswered for 15 days.

The price i paid for a new water heater and install includes inspection by the city. I have called and left voicemails and talked to another manager and can't get them to schedule the inspection.

Our apologizes for not getting your inspection called sooner. Being a Home Depot customer, we wait for Home Depot to acknowledge the work order before is it given to our inspections department. I have pushed your request for inspection though. Please expect a call for the MCS inspections department shortly.

This company caused damage to our roof which just now started leaking. They will not take responsibility for the repair. They actually broke the wood board in half placing HVAC on roof. They would have seen this when doing the work and ignored it. I cannot get I. The attic so did not know.

On July 31, 2020, Mechanical Control Solutions installed a split system Cooling and heating units. Total cost $13,000.00. I first contacted them in June of 2021, the cooling system was not cooling my home. They came out and charged me $1000.00 for freon. In summer of 2022 I called them again, cooling system not cooling, once again. They sent someone out, they added freon. I called again in the summer of 2023 once again cooling system not cooling my home. More freon was added and a second visit was scheduled by the company to find the leak. No leak was found and I was told it could be the coil was bad, and or the pipes inside the wall were busted. I was asked if I had any work done on my roof, walls and I had not. I called them in March 2024, hoping to get the problem resolved and a tech came out on May 2, 2024 added more freon. As of today the cooling system still is not working.
