I contacted this company because I was locked out of my car. I was told if I was paying cash, it would cost $240 and a card would cost $280. On May 19, 2024, ***** came to my vehicle. He was able to make a key for my ignition and door, however, was not able to program the ignition key. He told me I either had a bad fuse or it was the relay switch, and I would have to take it to the mechanic before he could program the key. He told me he would come and program it when I fixed the issue. I paid him the full amount for the key and programming. On May 24th I informed ***** that I would take in my vehicle as soon as my mechanic came back into town. I contacted ***** again on June 7th and informed him I was taking my vehicle to the mechanic. On Saturday June 8th I text ***** that my vehicle was ready. He replied, “I can go buy tomorrow for sure.” We planned for him to go at 10:00 A.M. to program the key. Again, he was unable to program the key. I asked for a refund since my vehicle didn’t have issues with the relay switch. He responded, “sorry we don’t do refund let me know if you fix the problem I will go back,” to which I replied “I’m confused. I thought the issue was the inability to connect to the computer because of a ‘bad fuse’ or ‘relay switch,’” which is the reason he gave me for not being able to connect to the computer to program the key initially. He responded, “right and that’s why it’s says failed to connect and the key doesn’t except it even with the key that does work won’t let the computer read the key.” I explained to him my mechanic was able to connect to the computer with no issues and my vehicle had no bad fuses and the relay switch was functioning properly. I asked if it was possible, it was the key or his computer. He replied, “ya he told me that I will get a different key on Tuesday and make it and see if It’s the key ok that way we can resolve it.” At this point I do not trust this business accessing my computer to my vehicle.
