    I took my vehicle in for repair of a check engine code P0420. Vehicle needed a new catalytic converter. This shop installed a converter that was not compliant for this vehicle. The check engine light came back on because of the part that was not ment for this vehicle. I called shop owner Daniel and he said to ship him back the part and he would refund my money. I did so and he has been blowing me off for almost a year. I don't know if the installation a non comliant part was entended to be fraud or just incompetence but I know having me mail him a $1250 dollar part then ducking my calls and hanging up on me was fraud.

    I am wanting to work with the consumer. There is nothing wrong with the converter. I sent it back to my distributor and there was not anything wrong with it. However, I understand where he is at with it. We will take care of it and refund the consumer. We can send one check in the amount of $521.29, and then the next payment three weeks later would be $521.28, and the last payment three weeks after this would be $521.28. If the consumer accepts this, the first payment will be mailed out the day after I receive his acceptance.
