My plight with this company started with a mobility scooter evaluation. The physical therapist conducting said evaluation took one look at me and said, I can tell just by looking at you, that theyre not going to give one to you. Throughout the evaluation, he made it clear that he truly believed there was no way I was getting a mobility scooter. I was then denied based on his assessment. We were told to come in for a brand new evaluation with a different physical therapist. When I walked in, it took a few moments before someone acknowledged me. I attended this appointment with my primary caregiver. The person who tended to me said that, they were only allowing patients into the building. I informed her that I was there with my caregiver. She leaned forward in an intimidating manner. As I tried to repeat myself, she said loudly, I heard you the first time. She then instructed me to check in and wash my hands. This instruction was so loud that I felt as if the whole building heard it. I went into the office, hoping to find someone less hostile. She screamed at the top of her lungs the same instructions. When I asked for a manager, I was informed she was the manager. Ive never been more humiliated or embarrassed in my life.
