      From a former Employee and Current Homeowner. Reading though the other reviews its clear to see that French's quality has tanked in the past few years and my house is no different. My issues started Day 1. I was told every item on my inspection report was fixed by my builder ************************* and his Assistant *************************. There were 43 Noted fixes on my report including: Dozens of Stucco Cracks especially near windows and doors, sloppy patch work on stucco, Weep Screed covering missing or installed wrong, Front door missing proper weather strips to keep out dust, Settlement cracks in my garage ceiling, insufficient power coming from AC unit, Grout chips and bare spots, unaligned closet door, Nail Pops etc. One Items that was noted is my SPLIT granite, Not a crack, its a split that breaks the granite. I was told an epoxy filler is my only fix (My countertop has several of these discolored/ un texturized/ puttylike and noticeable band aid fixes already covering the many chips in the stone) because even though it was called out on the report and I was told it was fixed, because I did not triple check and I signed I am SOL. Another example would be my closet shelving in my master closet. My inspector called it out for not having proper backing installed missing a top shelf and being loose. It came as little surprise when my entire master closet railing system failed and pulled from the wall. Another example would be my sliding Patio door. My patio door was called out on my inspection as it clearly doesn't sit properly in the framing causing pinching, squeaking and THE INABILITY TO OPEN PAST 1 FOOT randomly and sporadically thought the day. Not only is this inconvenient but it is an extreme fire safely concern as this is the closest exit to my kitchen. I have spoken to the warranty department about this several times and when I was told the techs were contacted, ****** the Assistant builder became my warranty tech and is now asking to look at the patio door again??? 0/10

      French brothers is one the worst home builders in **********, they have the worst warranty, and horrible customer service. Their houses are built so cheaply but yet are sold for so much. I havent even been in my house for 2 years yet, and my flooring is coming up with moisture, my rock wall is about to fall down and ******* is leaking. This house is a 2022 built. They take no pride in their work, do not get French brothers to build your home

      French Brothers built two home for us, one completed 2015 and the other 2017, the smaller home built in 2017 is tearing its self apart, French brothers would not even consider doing anything about it. We hired a construction defect law firm for the case. There are 9 homes in the case. Look up nmcourts.gov and search ********** V. French brothers. Do not have French brothers build you anything, they are the worst home builders ever.
