    My family and I attempted to stay yesterday July 25 through Sunday July 27, 2025 in which we fully paid the sum of $659.38. However we encountered many hurdles with our rooms which due to health reasons facilitated our departure. The receptionist staff informed me that they cannot give us a refund and to call the resorts phone number as **** could authorize it. After a few phone calls **** informed me that he was not authorized to provide said refund and that only an M Demerti could provide the refund. I received an email address and sent him my concerns and refund request. Respectfully request that I be provided a complete refund in the sum of $659.38. We did not stay in the facility, we were brought to 5 different rooms across two resorts. The first had a the ceiling air-conditioner falling through the ceiling. The second room has no air conditioning and reeked of marijuana and had mold in multiple locations. We left for 4 hours and the air still was not working, we even went out and bought oscillating fans to try to help. But it was to no avail. They attempted to move us to another resort. The first room we were brought to had no power. The front desk woman didn't know how to turn the electricity on to that room. She then took us to another room that was small and would not fit us, lacked the beds needed and wouldn't accommodate a sleeping cot. She then took us to a third room in which people were actually residing (that was very alarming). As there was nothing suitable at that facility, I drove back to the Acropolis. I spoke to the lady again at the front desk and was again told that there's nothing that they can do and to once again call ****. I called **** on the phone twice but did not receive an answer or response and ultimately made the decision to have to drive back home in the middle of the night. Mind you we were being shuffled from room to room hotel to hotel since 3pm upon our initial arrival.

    From start to finish, our experience at the Acropolis Oceanfront Resort in ********, ** was terrible. When first arriving to our room (509), we noticed immediately that the room was still dirty - hair in the *************** bathroom covered in mold, carpets were filthy, ************** springs were stained, & the room smelled of mold. Not only was there mold in the bathroom, but there was also mold visibly in & around the room. When we informed the front desk & requested a refund as we wanted to book another hotel, we were told that no one on the premises could give us a refund, & we'd have to wait until the next morning. The next morning comes & the manager, I believe her name was ********, offered to move us to another room but the ** was broken & was very clear that EVERY ROOM HAD MOLD, she even snidely said "Welcome to the ************, there is mold everywhere." The other alternative was that we could stay in our mold-infested room, they'd clean it with bleach, & they'd give us 30% off our next stay, which was a joke because we 1000% will never return to this POS establishment. We demanded they give us a phone number to put us in touch with someone who could refund our $. The phone number went to a man named ****, who assured us we could get a refund. We moved forward with booking a new place to stay. Fast forward two ********** are still fighting with them to give us a refund. We have been in contact with **** a few times since he originally stated we'd get a ************ tune completely changed. It's always, that "I have to wait on the owners to approve & they're only here on Wednesdays", or "We had the room inspected by a mold ************* didn't find any mold" even though both the ********************* assured us that there was mold in every room. They have stopped answering our calls entirely. Our stay was supposed to be from 7/20 to 7/23 but we checked out in the AM on 7/21 as we did not feel safe or comfortable staying there.
