    I bought a 2024 Ram 1500 from **** dodge less than 4 months ago. Truck has $5,000 miles and had the same reoccurring issue.I was told when I bought the vehicle that I had a top notch package for a warranty if anything happened to the truck they would supply me with a rental fix the issue etc They have been non responsive leaving me to do all the research not communicating with me left me in the showroom the third time for 6 hours and when they seen they couldnt sell me another truck with carrying over $12,000 dollars onto a new loan just handed me back my keys and told me to call state general for lemon law.Never offered to diagnose the issue just told me to call *** which I did two weeks ago and still havent received a answer back. This is the worse experience I had buying a new car I have lost countless days of work and money and the dealership had no care leaving everything for me to figure out which wasnt what was said when I purchased the vehicle

    I am a retired ofc. On 8/31/22 I traded in a 2019 Rubicon **** special edition for a 2019 ***** High Country from VannDodge. It was my worse experience ever. They are very shiesty and unprofessional. Upon delivery the vehicle had never been through the shop my navi didnt work, I found multiple scratches some covered with touch up paint and no gas was in it. I complained to the mgr he told me I will take care of it. When I went back to get these things taken care the mgr told me I was delusional and he never promised me nothing. I complained to several mgrs. Several calls and visits to the dealership later I got an appointment and the truck was sent to RK Chev. while I drove a rented mini van. It was there about a wk. RK fixed the Nav and recalls. Afterwards they had their detailer try to remove the touch up paint but he said it needed to go to a body shop. I was told to get an est and they will give me a call. They never called so again I went back to the dealership and was told they would call me tomorrow but again they didnt. I went back and talked to the ** and he asked for another copy of the est. which I gave him and the following day after going back and forth he agreed to split the difference making his portion $1000.00. He told me the check would be ready the following day. I agreed, we shook hands. The next day he called saying the check was ready but in order to get it I had to agree to his terms, these are his terms: to hold harmless the dealership from any and all claims past, present and future that arise from the vehicle purchase. We hereby completely, mutually and reciprocally release, discharge,acquit and forgive each other from all claims,contracts,actions,suits, demands,agreements,liabilities and proceedings of every nature and description of time to the date of these presents,including but not limited to any incident or claim resulting from the encounter and vehicle purchase. Needless to say I didnt sign. Sheisty and unprofessional.

    The truck was fully serviced prior but had an inoperable navigation unit at the time of delivery. We scheduled the repair with the local ***** dealer and reimbursed ******************** the prorated amount of his monthly payment for his inconvenience of being without the vehicle and in a rental instead. Re-painting the truck was never offered by the dealership but demanded by ********************. We feel this is an unreasonable request and offered to split the cost of the estimate provided by ******************** as a compromise, either by check to him personally or direct payment to the body shop. The release request is due to complaints of abusive and threatening language exhibited by ******************** towards employees.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I bought the truck for over $53k. The truck wasn't ready upon delivery which is an indication of their lack of professionalism and commitment to their customers.They reassured me they would fill my tank with gas, fix the navigation and repair the scratches and although they did the first two things, when it came to the scratches and paint drips all they did was have their detailer buff out what he could leaving multiple damaged areas which is why they had me go to ****** **** for an estimate. While it is true that they didn't use the language "repainting the truck" they definitely reassured me they would "fix" the damage. The damage is so bad that everyone who sees the truck points it out and asks where did I buy it. It's so unfortunate I have to go to this extent to be treated fairly. All I want is what was agreed upon but their terms annul all our paperwork we signed which protects me from further injury by eliminating their responsibility including my warranty and prevents me from warning others about their dishonest business practices. I shouldn't have to pay anything except for the price of the vehicle. Also, I am handicapped due to surgery and is in no condition to do harm to anyone. I am a retired officer and Minister in good standing my reputation precedes me within my community and church.
