On Wednesday, April 5th, I had my truck towed into the shop for service. I explained that my truck is my main source of transportation and my main method to get to and from work. I had a flat tire and the service engine light was on. Despite following up for 2 days straight, there were no updates. On Saturday, April 8th, I went to the shop in person for the latest update. I was told that the flat tire had been fixed but because my battery was dead, they were unable to diagnose the vehicle.Despite my personal efforts to resolve the issue, the lack of feedback, status updates, and troubleshooting codes retrieval made the process even more frustrating. When I brought the truck back after driving around for 15 minutes and got the check engine light to return, I was told to wait until Monday for someone to look into the engine light ************ came and went, and there were still no updates. The entire week went by without any feedback or updates from the shop.When I returned to the shop on Saturday, the 15th, my truck had pollen all over it and was sitting in the same exact spot. When I asked for the latest status update from the gentlemen at the desk, he went in the back for 5 minutes and came out with a work order printed with some notes saying they've ran the code all week and can't figure out the problem. Throughout this entire process, I was treated with disrespect and lack of courtesy. I understand that it may take some time to diagnose a truck, but the failure to communicate with me and provide timely updates shows a lack of respect for my time and inconvenience. It's especially frustrating since I explained how critical it was for me to get my truck back as soon as possible.This location is managed by ***********************, and I was recommended to work with this shop. However, based on my experience, I may never go to an American Tire and ********* again. I want this to be resolved by American ************
