    In December 2024, my husbands family received a letter from Eastwinds Consulting LLC, claiming they could help recover money from the sale of property once owned by his late mother in *****, *******. She had passed away without a will, and the property was headed for auction due to unpaid taxes. The company promised to handle everything and recover funds for the heirs without any upfront cost.We signed their agreement, and the property sold on January 14, 2025. I was told the process would take ***** days. However, its now October 2025, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. Communication from Eastwinds has been nearly nonexistent unless I reached out first. Each time, I got a different excuse or delay, and some heirs still havent received any of the money they were promised. The only payments that were made happened after I threatened to contact ************** my opinion, Eastwinds Consulting LLC has not acted in good faith and shows little regard for transparency or professionalism. If you receive mail from this company, please review publicly available complaints at the Better Business Bureau website that show a pattern of delay and deception and lawsuits against this company that further underscore that they lack integrity before choosing to deal with them. Families already dealing with loss and estate issues deserve honesty and respect not empty promises.

    When I was first contacted about surplus funds I admit I thought it was suspicious however that was not the case.I dealt with ********** and she was amazing. She walked me through the whole process and stayed in constant communications until I received my funds from my father's property which took about 6 months. It was an extremely smooth process and would recommend them to anybody who finds themselves in need of their services. I was told the amount in surplus, the amount of fees for the services and received roughly the amount quoted. *** is a true professional and I appreciated her dedication to my case.
