This is reference Complaint # ********, initiated on October 13, 2021. The complaint regards a window that does not open or close correctly. Built-Rite has responded; with improper size windows, or with a damaged window. The last appearance was on June 20, 2022. Built-Rite advised they would re-order the window, again. After numerous calls to Built-Rite I believe a six month time period is excessive. This is from an initial contract of October 1, 2020 and an installation date of January 18 &19, 2021. I contracted for the installation of 21 windows, so all the house windows would match. I now have 3 different style windows installed in the house. I believe Built-Rite should place a greater emphasis on replacing the window damaged by their installers in January of 2021.

The supply chain has been a horror, added to that are 2 mitigating factors, we stopped buying windows from Alside because o the service issues, which now made us a "persona non gratis" account. Our salesman quit and no one replaced him because we were no longer an active account. The  second issue is that Alside was sold to an investment company and service parts which were guaranteed are now chargeable. I have paid for all and any parts needed plus I bought 2 Provia windows for ***********************

The same morning we received this complaint, we also got an email from Alside that  his parts are in..

If ********************** wants the 2 Provia windows changed to Alside, I would be happy to oblige.

I am out on a medical leave but I believe **** has set up the service.

Please let me know what else we can do.
