      In May I went through one moving company to come in contact with a moving company that provided service for a long distance move from VA to **. The move was scheduled for June 9 and it didn't happened until June 11 ( which I was somewhat understanding about because things happens) but once the move was completed I was missing items. I informed them of the items missing and one of the items is for work which I desperately need. I called and left messages and no one has called back with no information about my things. I am out if options and I'm worried about my things and ***** and pray I don't lose my job behind this . If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. The moving company was Ernest Moving and Storage and the ******* name is ***.

      Original estimate of the move was $3,500. The highlighted items on the second bill, which I never saw came to a total of $5497.00. Cords to my computer, television, and air purifiers were lost as were the casters to my wall unit. That is a total loss of $835. 45 in personal property. That is what I want refunded to me. There is a serious discrepancy in what the broker estimates and what the mover charges the client, which was more than 50%.

      3/23/2023 movers arrived at residents location, amount was changed from 4700 to 7900 packing was not done as offered, fragiles was not bubbled wrapped, frequent calls and harassment for money owned, threathening calls from Enrest movers. I have no idea where my things are as of now and it was schedule to arrive in ******* on 4/3 from **************

      I RECENTLY MOVED FROM *** TO ****** *****. I CONTRACTED WITH A MOVING COMPANY CALLED ********** MOVERS (DISCOVERED THAT THEY ARE A BROKER, NOT A MOVER). ON THE *** OF THE MOVE ANOTHER COMPANY SHOWED UP, ERNEST MOVERS. THE INTITIAL PICK UP WAS FINE, THE DELIVERY WAS A TOTAL DISASTER. THESE PEOPLE TREATED MY PROPERTY LIKE IT WAS GARBAGE TO DUMP OFF AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I HAD MULTIPLE ITEMS DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. MY NEW $1,400 TV WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED AS IT WAS DROPPED ON THE GROUND, NO CARE GIVEN AT ALL. THEN THEY WANTED ANOTHER 100 BUCKS (****) BECAUSE THEY HAD "WALK" A BIT FURTHUR. TO MAKE A DAMAGE CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION WAS JUST AS BAD. ********** TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE, THAT AFTER I SENT THEM ALL THE DOCUMENTATION. ********** REFERRED ME TO AN OUTSOURCED CLAIM COMPANY, FILED WITH THEM, WAITED A MONTH AND AFTER A FOLLOW UP E MAIL WAS TOLD I NEVER FILED A CLAIM, A LIE! THIS WHOLE GROUP OF COMPANIES ARE A TOTAL SHAM. I FEEL THAT I WILL NEVER BE MADE WHOLE BY THESE PEOPLE.
