I purchased a fridge from Galanz Americas LTD. CO for $640.23 in October 2022. In June 2023, the fridge started to have cooling issues. The refrigerator no longer cooled the unit, even on level 5 (the coldest mode). I contacted Customer Service on July 31st, 2023 and gave them all the required information to process a refund. On August 2nd, 2023, Galanz Americas' Customer Service wrote me an email stating the following: "We are glad to inform you that your refund check has been issued by our bank. Please allow 21 business days for transit via the ** ****** *******. If you have not received your check by 9/01/2023, please let us know so that we can further investigate." They have, in fact, never sent the check. I have emailed them 15 times and called them approximately 10 times since August 2023. They never resolved the case and have never allowed me to speak with their billing department. I am reporting this company for fraud, scams, and bad business practices. I request that my refund (which was promised by the company in August 2022) be sent via electronic transfer immediately. I contacted the company because the freezer doesn't work on Jan 24, 2024. My original ticket number was ****** but somehow it got changed to ******* I provided all info requested and they advised that 2 separate checks were issued to me but never arrived. I found out later they sent to wrong address. I gave them the correct address which was correct in my original email. Now for weeks the customer service people are telling me that they will contact me once the billing dept contacts them. I have tried to ask for a supervisor but they make promises about him calling me back but they don't follow through. I call every few days with no results. If you want the email I can forward to you. I purchased a dorm size fridge from Target and I purchased the additional warranty. The fridge is now making noise , I called the warranty place and they keep giving me the run around, today they said all the checks that was sent out was returned bk from the post office, I asked was the address on it and postage that would be the only reason it would be returned. She read the address to me which was correct, so it makes no sense why the post office would return all the checks bk to the sender. The check was supposed to be received on the sixth of March, I still haven't received it, nothing but excuses one after another.Customer response

My situation with not receiving my money has been resolved although I didn't receive the tax along with the full price I paid, I'll accept it. Thanks for the help

I bought a Vissani refridgerator from ********** 11/10/2023. It started making loud noises less than a month after bringing it home. Opened wannaty case# ****** on 1/8/2024. Sent them receipt pictures and audio of the refridgerator via email as they requested. Kept a call log of me asking for an update on when the tech was going to be out. After 2 weeks, they realize they don't have my address. 1/25/2024, they say they don't have a tech in my area to service the warranty and will be issueing a refund. Waited 21 bussiness days as they asked, then they said the check didn't get out on this batch. Waited another 21 bussiness days. Then they said the check didn't get out on that batch either. After pushing them to escalate, they come back on the line and said the system is down, but they department said the check did get out. Never received it. Now they are saying it was lost in mail and they are working with ***** This is the excuse U get each time I call now. Called Galanz 3/19/2024 and they just left me on hold for 45 min. Today marks 70 days without a refridgerator. Galanz has essentially store over $400 from me.Initial Complaint

In August of 2023 I moved my daughter into her college dorm. When we unpacked her dorm fridge we noticed the crisper drawer was broken/cracked. My wife immediately filed a warranty claim with Galanz. Claim #******. I have called Galanz customer service 8 times for an update and have yet to get one. **************** chat give me an answer as to where we are in the process and tell me there is no one else I can talk to, they will send the department an email and I, in-turn, win receive an email with any updates. No email has ever came. We are now 7 months after the claim was filed and the crisper drawer replacement hasn't been sent and no update has been sent. I would like the crisper drawer replaced or a total refuns and I'll go by another one.Initial Complaint

I purchased my refrigerator in Nov of 2023 at ******** Galanz will not service my no cold refrigerator with out a receipt . As it has not been working since last night . I explained to them I am working and cannot get a receipt till tomorrow so not my refrigerator will be dead for two days. I also explained to them that the model and serial number shows them when the unit was manufactured as I worked for Maytag for years and if a customer has no cold refrigerator you sent a technicians out to repair it . they refused till I get a receipt from coscto show a date of purchase. the serial number shows the year it was made 2023 . This is poor customer service from this ********************** refusing a customer to fix their machine that has a 2yr warranty without a receiptInitial Complaint

I purchased a refrigerator from this company to hold us over after moving into a new home. A month after having the item, it stopped keeping food cold/cool in the refrigerator part and over froze in the freezer. All attempts that was offered via their website didn’t work. I contacted the company on January 24th, 2024 about the issue and provided what was asked to see if they would replace or issue a refund. Per an email from them on February 2nd 2024, I would be issued a refund for the price of the item. The email stated that in 21days, or by March 5th, 2024, I would receive a check via postal mail. Today, I called to inquire about where it was because it wasn’t received, and I was told that there may be a problem with the courier but that I would have to wait another 24-48hours just for them to get information from the refund department. I am upset that 1. What I spent money on was defective and could have cause a health issue for either myself or my husband. 2. I’ve had to call to get updated information because they failed to send emails or call unless I contacted them first.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Haier/Galanz mini refrigerator July 2023. It was missing a long silver washer that stabilizes the refrigerator from rocking. I requested they send me the washer for the unit & they had me jump through hoops for the request: picture of receipt, plug, serial #, bottom of the refrigerator, entire refrigerator…I sent the info late July 2023 & followed up several times reveiving a response today they won’t provide the washer it’s not availableInitial Complaint

Purchase was made July 4, 2022 Amount: 1,072.49 We were in the middle of remodeling our home. Once we installed the stove, we kept smelling gas. We called pge to make sure it was not our line they could not find anything then we called the plumber to check the gas line and he stated that the leak was coming from the componets inside the stove. We reached out to Glanz warranty department on February 27, 2023 and they send a ticket for repair, a very long story short, they had no one in the area to send out to repair the stove and offered us a refund....We are now February 2024 and after SO Many excuses, I have not received my refund. The excuse I am given every time I call or email is that the Billing Department was having issues (that they can not disclose) and that they have to reach them for updates!.. They also tell me a check is in the mail and that we need to give it 7-14 days for receipt. I have spoken to many supervisors and I get the same excuses. I did receive a check for $193 which I have not cashed because it was the wrong amount and I have informed Glanz about this but they have told me the difference will be mailed... I do not even know what to do or whom I can reach to get my money back.
