Theres definitely something illegal going on with this company. I misplaced my card so I called customer service & asked them to freeze my card until I find it. The agent said it couldnt be done & Ill have to get a replacement ($50 by the way). She said it will take **** days for me to receive it, I called on the 10th day to inform them I havent gotten my card & the agent told me its a delay on it so itll take 3 more days. I then called on the 3rd day & the agent told me itll take another **** days! I dont understand how Oxygen can legally hold MY money hostage. Something needs to be done to this so-called company!!!!!

I received a debit card in the mail with my name but I never requested to open one with them. I looked up this company and found reviews similar to my situation. I went into my credit report and there was a company, **********************, that had pulled my information recently. I called the customer service, which took two tries because it was such a long wait. I talked to a lady named ****** told me she is closing the account and sent an email confirmation. I looked at it and it was just a generic email stating the account was closed- no info on which account number and not even my name is stated in the email. So I hung up and put all 3 credit bureaus on freeze. They need to shut this company down.

I was contacted by an old neighbor of mine in the building where I used to reside. He had found a piece of mail addressed to me the mailman had left outside of the mailboxes. I told him to open it and inside was a **** Oxygen Debit card; an account/card I had not approved or opened. I rang Oxygen and spoke to a woman who's name she said was spelled "M" and her ID#******. I had explained to her I had received this card in the mail and I have reason to believe this is Identity Theft. I asked her if she could provide me with some information so I could understand how they received my info and she said because I didn't open the account she wasn't able to provide me with this information. I was stumped. I asked her to please close the account and also requested documentation stating this account was closed as the cardholder didn't actually open this account. She didn't even ask me to verify my identity to close the account. Again, stumped and another red flag. She asked me to provide an email address, and I asked what did she have on my account but she couldn't tell me. Another red flag. I asked her if he could mail the documentation and he said no, so I ended up providing her with a very old email. "M" kept repeating my email address incorrectly. Her English was perfect and a language barrier wasn't an issue. It felt like she was mocking me and I felt very uncomfortable because I'm freaking out about my identity being compromised and very suspect of this interaction and this company. In the end, I did receive an email confirmation. I am writing this review with the intent to help anyone who does have an account with them to think twice. If they allow scammers to open accounts using someone else's identity; how secure is your information? They also seem to protect the scammers and can't provide you with any information or transfer you to their fraud department. I pray the BBB looks further into this company because I think they are bad news.
