      On Friday June 7th I had parked my car at 8pm and countryside Apartments in Franklin township nj. I had been parked I an approved space for visitors with a parking pass that was given by the complex. I left the complex in another vehicle around 8:30pm, when we arrived back at 3:00am on June 8th, my car was gone. I attempted to call the facility multiple times for help and they never called back. We drove to AT towing that day around 9:30. When arrived the pass was still visibly hanging from the rear view mirror. He had told me that “according to the law it was hanging incorrectly” and he had every right to take it. We had tried to reason with him for about an hour and he ended up kicking my friend out after screaming at her. She had already had this happen to her mother twice at this point. Even when they had previously stopped him from taking a different car in the past with a pass, he then took the car next to them that also had a pass. I ended up paying to get my car but I believe this is completely unfair and unjust. I would have paid a minor fee for the inconvenience of the company but now I believe after the treatment and unlawful tow, I should get receive a full reimbursement.
      On top of the situation, he only accepted cash or Zelle which seems unprofessional and shady as well. That then delayed the issue even longer.

      Parked outside of a restaurant and my car was towed because I was not a paying customer. The tow company towed me within 15 minutes. The picture of the tow fee on the wall of the restaurant says $165 this business charged me $210 and they only take cash or Zelle.

      As per your statement , your vehicle was towed because you parked on private property and went else where. And sign is posted as you provided. As per the photo you provided the fees incurred to remove your vehicle is as per city ordinance. Tow $165 dolly wheels $80 for a total of $245. Owner was charged less than the permitted fee. Payment option as within the state law guid lines. Follow the law and you wouldn’t get towed.

      On Friday 10/6/23, I went to my sister at ******** **** ********** in Somerset NJ to drop off and pick up some stuff. I arrived around 5:35pm, I park opposite of where my sister car was parked. I returned to my car at around 5:42pm to get other shopping bags out of my trunk. But when I returned to my car less than 20 minutes later, my car was gone. At first, I thought it was stolen. By then me and my sister realized that the car was towed by AT Towing, so when I called AT Towing and ask them do they have my car and the guy phone said yes it been here since 6:15pm, That means my car was towed at 5:50 pm, cause it take 25 minutes to get to your location *** ********* *** ***** ***** from where the car was towed. So, minutes after I went to my car you towed it, you seen me park my car and seen me bringing packages to the door and then you towed my car. There are no parking signs anywhere in the parking lot. I lived at this location for 8 years, this is not a gated community or gated parking lot. You only need a sticker to park if you are a resident or staying overnight, not dropping stuff off. The guy on the phone said it would cost $344.00 to get my car, when I got to location the gate was lock, it was supposed to be open until 11pm and its 8:30pm. I called back at then a young man comes down from the house in the towing yard. no paperwork is given to me. I have to Zelle $344.00 I feel that I was a victim of predatory towing, in which my car was towed within 8 minutes of me leaving my car and going in the door. I would like a full refund for this illegal tow. I think that before you tow someone's car you should make sure that the car is park illegally. Since there is no time frame stated or posted anywhere in that parking lot in which a car can be park at Somerset Park when visiting a resident.

      I am rejecting this response because:


      I was not staying overnight so no parking sticker was need. In the previous attached paper work management stated cars that were parked overnight NOT FOR 8 MINS.. with no sticker should be stowed.

      Not only did you inconvenience me but my disabled son who was stranded,  You Towed my car with a Handicap plate card in the window.

      Once again- At Towing took it upon yourself to just tow my car at 5:50pm,  after I was only there for 8 mins,  That is called predatory towing. You illegally towed my car knowing that I WAS NOT  ILLEGALLY PARK at ******** **** ********** on 10/6/23.

      Where is my paperwork or proof that my car was illegally parked at ******** **** **********, there was none.

      I never received no documentation, receipt or any type of communication from AT Towing.

      But yet I had to Zelle  $344.00 to ***************., at 8:30 pm on 10/6/23  before I could even step in foot in the locked gate of AT Towing in Perth Amboy.

      You tell me, does this make any sense:  You tow my car to Perth Amboy New Jersey, I  have to Zelle $344 to some unknown yahoo address in order to get my car back. There is no one I can speak to at 8:30 pm cause the owner of AT Towing in bed sleeping and is unreachable no paperwork or receipt is given to me for this transaction.

      How could that be if the business was supposed to be open until 11pm according to the person who answered the phone.

      Once again I want to be refunded for the $344.00 that I had to paid for this illegal tow, 

      There is no proof that I was illegally parked at ******** **** ********** at 5:50 pm on 10/06/23.

      I first used this service with my insurance company...it took them 6 hrs to arrive when I was stuck on the side of the freeway. They quoted me 2 hrs when I first called and didn't update me until I phoned them 3 hrs later. Told me it would be another 90 minutes, didn't show for an additional 3 hrs.Worst service ever and never phoned me with updates.

      This request had nothing to do with our company. There are other towing companies with the same exact name. We were not dispatched to assist, and we dont take insurance calls or road side assistance. We responded to this complaint over two years ago. Not sure why its still an ongoing matter.
