  BookBaby has been fantastic to work with! This was my first foray into publishing my childrens books and after much research I chose this company. BookBaby was quick to respond to my questions and was a great guide every step of the ****** printed books exceeded my expectations because each of the pages includes lush color original artwork that Bookbaby printed gorgeously!BookBaby has an meta tag option that helped with my book showing up on the big book ******** books are for sale and if you want to take a look on ******, ***************************, Bookshop etc type in, ***** ******.

  BookBaby provided an economical and professional publication option for the three books on my career that I published simultaneously. The print and binding quality was excellent and the timing for providing print-on-demand books to other book outlets was excellent. I will use BookBaby for any future books that I write.

  This business is not one I recommend ever using, unless you want to be swindled and never see any money for your hard work. I wrote and illustrated a childrens book, they published. I paid thousands of dollars. I paid extra for some sort of hokey certificate that made zero sense (scam) and was never reimbursed when I called them on the scam. I had dozens of friends and family alone purchase the book and bought dozens of copies myself and never received the money. They told me Id get 100 copies, I never received them. I got the run-around for years. Eventually, I realized all I can do is complain here and eventually file a lawsuit. This is a ridiculous company that will lie, cheat and steal from you. Do not use them for anything.

  Now I have another complaint. Book Baby will also lie about doing business with you and will also rip you off. Theyre insane. I have receipts, emails, and the completed product. Really? Absolutely insane company.

  Hi ******, We'd love to help you but you really are not in our system. Can you please share an order #, book title, or contact us *********************************** We don't sell certificates. We think you used another company. Some have setup with similar names as ours, which causes confusion.

  ******** succeeded in printing my book.Bookbaby failed miserably to advertise and market my book even though I paid them hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars Advertising and marketing with bookbaby is a waste of money!!!!

  Seemed like a good idea to use BookBaby. However, their response time is horrible, plus you end up speaking to a different person each time you call in. You need to tell your story over everytime you call in. Their quality control doesn't seemt to be very good as I have three different color variations on the cover of the book. Also, problems with distribution, similar to other reviews I've read on here. Feel I could have gotten better service from another publisher. I'm very sad about this experience.

  I used BB and received average service. There seems to be a charge for everything .Their agents are helpful but their process is not intuitive.
