      My air conditioner was recalled , I requested a refund in June, I was told I had to wait for either a text or e-mail with instructions on how to submitted the photo with the wires cut, I called the end of June stating that I did not get any e-mail or text , they said it takes time. I called today ,they said you should have received the e-mail already & that they will resend it that was over an hour ago. Is anyone having issues with their refund ?

      **************** is absolute garbage. We have waited 6 weeks for a technician to reach out after registering the a/c and filling out all info online and now have 7052 minute wait time when i called. This is for my grandmother and clearly its just another. company trying to prey on the elderly Absolutely pathetic. What kind of company does business like this?? I WILL NEVER BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN.

      I am a few days away from two months of having submitted my pictures with the cord cut of my recalled A/C. They rejected the first picture and no news on the second picture. I don't know what is wrong with the first picture. I clearly show the cut cord. This AC definitely ain't working. I had to buy a new AC in the meantime and have this huge AC in my ** ******. Me and guests are stepping over it. I call the hotline regularly and there is nothing they can do. This starts feeling like a scam: will you keep rejecting my pictures until I give up. What are legal pathways we can take against this company?

      Midea sent me the wrong AC unit and was not helpful when it came to trying to exchange the product. The ordeal was such a headache, I will not be purchasing from them again.

      Bought a portable A/C unit tried leaving feedback on the website. Was denied leaving feedback on the website for reasons unknown. The product I purchased doesn't work customer service is basically non existent. Do not purchase from this manufacturer they are not friendly their products are junk.

      When I received my air conditioner last year, I noticed that it had a musty smell. I contacted Midea and they pretty much brushed me off and sent me instructions to clean it that were beyond my physical capabilities. My other option was to hire a repair person at my own cost for my NEW air conditioner. I like the air condtioner. I attached some gauze in the back to try to get rid of some of the water and sprayed things into the A/C but it still smelled musty.Lo and behold, the recall/repair comes. The "repair" person comes, drills a hole and installs a plug and leaves. He did not, as was promised by Midea, clean the air conditioner. I also did not receive the number of plugs that were promised when I applied for the repair.

      0 stars if I could. My AC was recalled, I immediately filed a request for repair. I was told that I would receive a repair kit and a call from a technician to schedule the repair within 2-4 weeks. This was 6 weeks ago and I've heard nothing. I called three times. Today I was given the number to call to reach a repair technician directly to schedule it myself (which i shouldn't have to do but whatever). I called the number and received an automated response that the wait time was ***** minutes, which is over 20 hours. I called back Midea and asked for a refund. They said the process would take over 2 weeks because I have to be approved and then submit pictures of the unit - why? Anyway, do NOT do business with this company!!!

      The first Midea I installed was a casement and threw ***** water all over the house siding and new window. These casement AC's were unintentionally designed not to be able to drain the first inch of water. The drain hole is located in a raised place on the bottom and is about 1" higher than the base. Thus, it leaves enough water for the fan to throw the water out through the side and back onto the window and house. I had bought one to replace one I ruined for a friend while trying to drill a small drain hole and hit a pipe. I'm not counting on getting money back soon because of the other reviews. I didn't discover the reason until after buying and installing the second one. I also installed a u-shaped one and it was great until complaints come out about them not draining and leaving mold to be blown into your house. There is a recall for them (about 1.7 million units). In my opinion, there should be a BBB review and a recall on both styles of these.

      If I could leave negative stars I would. ******** worst products ever made!!! And the poorest customer service, nobody knows anything, babies crying in the background, very rude. Washer broke, completely unusable motor burnt out due to a manufacturer error and dryer door fell off in less than 2 years. The part I order 3 months still has not arrived and I have been told May arrive sometime in the next 2 months. Theres no accountability for the products they manufacture and good luck speaking to a supervisor they dont have any!!!! Never buy this brand

      My air conditioner was recalled by Midea. I was told they would send a technician to repair it within 3 weeks. More than 4 weeks and multiple phone calls later, I have still not been contacted to schedule a repair. **************** representatives say there is no supervisor for me to speak to. Overall, an awful customer service experience
