      We hired BARR Construction LLC to do work on our home that we just bought. We hired them to do work which they completed, did a nice job and were paid. We then decided we wanted to replace all the windows in our home and started a separate contract with them which we gave them a large deposit to start the work. We went back and forth deciding on the brand of window to use and once we decided on one we were told the order was placed and they would arrive on a scheduled date to do the work. Plain and simple they never showed up, they refused to answer our phone calls, texts or emails for over a month and when we did get in contact with the contractor he claimed he was in Costa Rica or dealing with issues. Never once did we receive a text or call or email stating this for the delay. He avoided all contact and has only contacted us 1-2 times in the last 4-5 months and only because our point of contact who had worked with them ended up running into him on the road. The electrical work that was done for our first contract with him, the electrician he hired showed up at our door the next day asking for payment from us directly because he never received payment from BARR which was a red flag. He keeps making up excuses and claims that he'll return the money yet its been 5-6 months and hasn't returned any money. His voicemail is full so you can't leave messages and I've found his name reported on this site under another business name. Based on our discussion with our lawyer and the police he has created several different LLCs and has had several claims filed against him. We only want our money back nothing more yet it has come to this.

      *** *********, owner of *** and **** Construction, stole $6000 from us. He started the work and never finished. He never delivered any material he said he bought. When we asked him to come and finish the job he ghosted us. He is a thief. You cannot reach him. He does not answer texts or phone calls. He takes the money and runs.

      We hired ************************* of BBS construction to do a large renovation on our house last spring. He had already done some work for ** and was in the middle of doing a bathroom-which he never finished. He took our money, refused to put things in writing and claimed to be buying materials we never saw. He began avoiding **-showing up to ask for money and make promises he never delivered on. He left our house a mess and we had to fire him after months of lies and work that never got done. He took our money and did not deliver the job he promised. We begged for months to see some progress, some materials, anything and he became belligerent leading to ** firing him. It was a very difficult and expensive process to fix what he left botched and unfinished
