I bought the car on February 15 2025, and in two weeks of having the car. The car started to smoke. I told them I want them to refund the money to the bank so they can undo the loan and they told me that they do not do refunds. The car has been there since March 3 2025.Business Response

On February 8th, I came in to Maserati of Monmouth in Ocean for a routine oil change and service appointment for my 2018 Maserati GranTurismo. When my car was ready, almost 3 1/2 hour later, there were scratches on the whole front end of my car. I immediately went in and spoke with Kate who came out and agreed that the damage was not there when I arrived. She said she would look at the cameras to see what happened and would pay for the damages. I have an email confirming this as well as photos she took and that I took. I have reached out several times by phone and email to see how they will be paying for the damage which is approximately only $5,000 and no one will get back to me!Initial Complaint

I bought a 2015 equinox on Nov 2024! leaving the dealership , husband started truck and check engine light came on, went. Right back in and told them ! Make a long story short ,they finally took my truck in to fix it ! Well 6 months later they called to say my truck was done . Drive my truck home and the check engine light was back on ! I purchased a 2020 Maserati Levante from the dealership. Upon purchasing the vehicle, I was told that there was a 2nd key fob and I can pick it up when I came in to pickup the license plates.
I also negotiated a full tank of gas and damages which would be repaired - the side pillar was peeling and there were 2 dents near the gas tank.
I was told they couldn’t refill the gas because the person who would do it wasn’t there. I dropped off my vehicle to have the damages taken care of and the vehicle sat with the dealership for 2 weeks and was never fixed. Phone calls were never returned so I drove to the dealership and took my car back and spoke to the general manager and repair manager. They told me they would call me in 2-3 days but they would fix the issues and would order me a new key fob as they were unable to locate it. They gave me an excuse that the dealership was under new ownership and the staff were all new. I also told them that I noticed the dashboard was popping up and they said they would fix it.
Several weeks went by and none of my calls were ever returned. I took my vehicle to Maserati of Englewood who fixed the dash for free but quoted me $515 for the pillar to be fixed.
I was quoted $1600 for an additional key fob
After several calls and complaints. They responded and claimed that I need to go through warranty and that they never agreed to fixing the pillar. I told them that I have a copy of the paperwork where they agreed to it.
My girlfriend was also a witness when we came in and the general manager agreed to make right of all of the issues including how they would cover replacing the missing key fob.Initial Complaint

03/11/2024, i bought a Toyota Highlander 2020 with 16912 miles, the car was hit in the back and because of that some warnings are up in the dashboard, they sent me to the shop, but the manager
look at it, and had said to me that the car still has warranty with Toyota, so he did not fix the car instead he sent me to Toyota dealer, i follow up and took the car to Toyota dealer, I paid $150 just to check the problem, the dealer had said to me that the car has no warranty because it was hit in the back and it is not a factory problem, and it may cost a lot of money more than $2000 Dollars to fix the problem, since then i have tried to get in touch with Maserati and so far no answer, IMPORTANT
when i was buying the car they showed me the fox report, and it was clean, no accidents report, but the insurance shows that the car was in an accident and has a frame problems, witch i did not know, what i want is the dealer to fix the car asap or i wait for bbb to help me solve the problem. On September 17th I purchased a black dodge scat pack from Maserati of Monmouth and they are not shipping the car. Every time i call i'm sent to voicemail and if someone does call they put me on hold for 10-20 minutes. But when i do answer they beat around the bush about shipping. they have been telling me that no company will pick it up when there's companies in new jersey who will pick up same day. This whole time I have been working with Genesis and she's been telling me everything Nathan tells her, so i speak to Nathan and he says the car is scheduled to be picked up the next day and it never gets picked up. I spoked to Jason and he told me that on Monday (oct. 7) the car is leaving and the car hasn't left. I need the car for school.Initial Complaint

We bought a 2021 ***** Odyssey from this dealership online. We purchased the vehicle August 6th and were told it would be delivered in a day or two after three weeks, and many many calls to the dealership, my parents decided to call them. They got them to dispatch the vehicle, just for it to be delivered having been involved in an obvious accident. I called and they said they would pay for the services required. I then sent the invoice to them and they have been ignoring my calls ever since, without paying. They sold a car under false pretenses and will avoid every phone call to not have to deal with it.Business Response

I purchased a 2021 Dodge Charger at your Park *********** location on 7/2. Since then I have been in contact with a number of your employees who have given me nothing but the runaround with the vehicle that does not run. On 7/18, I requested that the sell of the vehicle be reversed. **** the manager at Maserati of Monmouth stated that there would be paperwork that had to be gathered and processed. Instead of processing the reverse of the sell he has ******* reach out to have the vehicle towed for repairs after 2 weeks. The car was towed on 8/1 and in your location until 8/15. I was told the coolant issue was fixed only to drive the vehicle less than 20 minutes and 10 miles for it to overheat yet again. I took the vehicle to the dodge dealership on 8/16 only to find out the car no longer has the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty that was stated it had at the time of purchase and furthermore explain that the vehicle is unsafe to drive and it would cost nearly 15K to have the car repaired correctly and that was using junk yard parts. There are cables hanging the bumper is hanging up with two bolts instead of the 6. Another part is held up with 2 of the 4 bolts. I just want the sell reversed and the money put into this car given back to me. I have videos I can share of the walkthrough done of all of the issues and I have attached the report from dodge. I have been in contact with the below staff at your dealership and none seem to have any urgency with resolving this matter; **** *********, **** *****, ******* *******, ****** (in service), **** (in Parts) and the receptionist that continues to transfer my calls to a voicemail that you cannot leave a message or the message is never returned.Business Response

I have reached out several times via email for an update on the status of repairs and have yet to receive a response. They were supposed to send a video of the car with a walkthrough for review of repairs and havent done so yet. In addition to all of this I received an email regarding my registration never being processed and the lien holder is asking for documentation that they still have not provided to me.

No Title/Tag application submitted to Maryland DMV after months:On May 29th, 2024, we submitted paperwork for the purchase of a ***** CRV, stock #******, VIN XXXXXX******. This exchange occurred through email and by phone, as this was a vehicle we located through an online service. One of the sales persons listed on the Vehicle Buyers Order was Awaray *********. I have since noticed that different documents list different names: ***************************, *********************, etc. Payment was complete by June 5th On June 12th, after several phone calls and no definitive answer of a failed car delivery, we picked up the car in person. On arrival to Maserati of Monmouth, the car was not detailed or inspected, showing no signs of being close to ready for the promised delivery. There was no owners manual, spare key or any of the expected dealership paperwork.On July 10th, the temporary tag expired, with no tags arriving from the state of ********. Our VBO shows $995 paid for preparation and processing of license, registration and title, as well as ****** for registration/title fee. Several phone calls were made with no response. On July 24th, *************************** (co-owner) contacted the dealership in person. He was told that ********************* was no longer employed at MoM and the paperwork had not been submitted for tags. A resolution was promised. An email was sent to the dealership, to ***************************** at the dealership and to ************************************************************* on August 9, 2024 reiterating the problem and our contacts with the dealership. No response from the dealership was received. It has now been over three weeks since the last in person contact ( and the state of Maryland has no record of this VIN being submitted for registration. I was in contact with the office today (August 16, 2024) and their volume is not the problem. Were 10 weeks after payment was received. We have been paying car payments and insurance on a car that is unusable.Business Response

Reviewed this concern with the ** MVC - There is a delay through the state Motor Vehicle for the customer coupled with a delay in the customer providing the inspection and proof of insurance. The 3rd party has been contacted to see if it is possible to obtain the motor vehicle plates and registration sooner than later. The customer will be updated as the process is completed. Thank you!
