I am writing this in response to the poor care given to my wife(****************** room ***) at Laurel Brook Rehab in Mt. Laurel, **.I can rattle off an entire list of issues but to be short:1)Food distributed not edible. Either gets to my wife cold or hard. She is also given some food that she does not eat ie: Fish, pork, coffee. When she asks for another selection sometimes she will not recieve, for example on Saturday 2/25, her lunch received was refused by her, I then called and spoke to a supervisor because as of 3:30 a replacement meal was not delivered 2)The second day that I visited her when I left her room three employees were speaking aloud, in front of me, what does the lady in room 123 think, this is a Hilton, she asked for a glass of water. I called to complain and surprisingly received a call back that night at 7 P.M. Unfortunately I have called since then with other complaints but no response.3)Her physical therapy is supposed to be re-assessed Tuesday but therapy had not been performed on a regular basis with any sustained length, for example, no therapy was given on Saturday 2/25. How is she supposed to build up herself at this pace?4)One day she requested ******* and was not given for at least 4 hours after her request.5)This past Thursday I visited my wife and asked the receptionist (******) who was extremely helpful, to call for a supervisor who I could speak to that night. No one was available to come to the receptionists desk.6)Who is supervising my wifes care on site??Overall there seems to be systemic issues with the lack of care and empathy. There is no responsibility or accountability for the staff, I also worry about the patients who do not have an advocate on their side.Thank you,***********************
