The guaranteed Quote was for a 17' by 10' pool including a Polaris 280 cleaner. Because of the proximity to the river the pool was reduced to 9' by 10',about half the size, and the Polaris and it's plumbing were removed from the contract, yet the price was reduced by only about 2% .They did help me get a permit because I was so close to the water, but they charged me an additional $700.The contract called for a deposit of $5,000 then 40% at excavation and 55% at concrete application. I thought that the majority would be in place before the concrete. I was shocked when the hole was dug and the concrete was applied but nothing else was done. No electric,no *********** ********* heater, yet over 95% of the bill was expected. When I explained that it was not the break down on the original quote it was adjusted but it was still very top heavy. When they dug the hole they dug too close to the patio and the 2' high decorative wall fell into the hole. They said they were not responsible so I decided not to replace the wall. When they dug for the plumbing they dug under the retaining wall and part of it collapsed. Again they said they were not responsible even after I offered to pay half. They said they would get me a great price to repair it from their *****. Their quote was $5,400 and my ***** did it for $3.300. They did not back fill to the way it was.The slab with the equipment was left hanging, and the dirt under the slab steps was not replaced. It was basically unsafe and unstable. After complaining they did come back and fixed it. It was over six weeks between the the tile work and the plaster. I had to schedule the final inspections myself. The final plumbing failed because they forgot the relief valve. The final product was fine but was it worth all of the above? I don't think so. ****

After several other pool companies that have come out for an estimate we decided to go with Swim-Mor because several others in our town we saw using them. DO NOT GO WITH THEM! We started this process in January 2024 it is now almost June and we are still dealing with this. Not only did they design the pool and not dig my pool deep enough and never explained the whole process they have caused us to spend an additional $50,000 in landscaping and retainer walls! Make sure you ask about all landscaping and if your going to need any additional walls and drainage installed. Which is outside of their scope. We had to have additional drains put in so the water would drain away from our house and neighbors. Several calls were made to ****************************** and even the owner ****. All they want is your money!! After spending $85,000 for a pool we are left with a huge mess and they refuse to talk to you. All they care about is getting all their money up front. Designs for the pool have to be approved from township. They twisted the plans and made me sign something that I was not even aware of. Their workers came here drinking beer on the job and being extremely inappropriate with my 17 year old daughter as she was leaving for school. This was also brought to the attention of the owner who never even called us to discuss any issues.

I firmly disagree with this review. This pool was sold in January 2024, designed, permitted and then Dug March 11th, was then plastered May 9th , filled with water and started up 5/13th. The pool was Completed in the two months we had estimated for her and this during one of the wettest springs on record. A text from her after the coping and tile was installed on 4/23, Everything has been so smooth and easy thank you for everything! It wasnt until the concrete contractor was out to layout the concrete that was included in the contract and she got pricing for a different contractor for upgrading to pavers and additional patio was there suddenly a problem. There was a discrepancy in the amount of concrete that was included and the amount on the drawing, which, Swim-Mor agreed to honor the extra amount on the design. However, the problem is she also wanted to extend the patio beyond what was included, designed, and approved by the township. Due to the obvious grades in her yard that existed before Swim-Mor ever entered the property, as the angle of her existing rear and side fence clearly show, sloping from one side to the other, she would need a retaining wall to put additional decking closer to the side and rear fence. This was not a mistake on Swim-Mor. The design the entire time showed the layout of the pool and she also approved the elevation of the pool so that she could walk off her existing patio to the new pool deck. We cannot help that her yard has always had a grade from one end to the other and now that there is a ~19x39 swimming pool in the middle the grade on the one side is exaggerated. Had she installed what we had designed, retaining walls would not be needed. Had we originally set the pool elevation lower, she would have needed retaining walls up against her existing ~45 wide patio between the house and the pool as well as potentially the opposite side of the property holding back the existing grade.

Horrible customer service. Put in new coping and tiles which have continued to come out since almost day 1. Last year they did not repair till the end of the season. Called them weeks ago with same issue. They never return calls and insist it will be resolved soon. However, Im going to close the pool in 4 weeks. Spent $12500 for new tiles which are ending up on my pool bottom.

Stay away from this company at all costs! Should be zero stars. We hired Swim-Mor Pools to install new tile, plaster and coping once a new paver patio was installed. Two days after the new patio was laid ($32+k), they ruined it with the Permakote mix. *********************** (owner) did not respond to emails, calls, or certified letters over 5 months to rectify the damage they admitted in writing to doing, nor would they furnish the **** I had to find their COI through ******** Contractors Licensing and file the claim. Their insurance verified they ruined the new paver deck and sent us the funds for rip and repair. The pool work itself, the spillway between the spa and the pool is collapsing as they placed no structural support under the coping, the tile has incomplete grout line coverage and the plaster is already beginning to shows signs of wear after 3 months. We have color video of Swim-Mor employees not mixing and applying Permakote per the instructions and they waited over 3 weeks before plastering without an additional Permakote layer. All required per manufacturer or we will face accelerated delamination and plaster failure. ******** still refused to handle these issues under their warranty and just put in a claim to their insurance. We now have to have an actual reputable pool company completely redo what they couldnt do. They play the nice game to get your money, but once you pay, they wont respond to any issues and the warranty is absolutely meaningless. If you do hire them, get both their insurance COIs prior to signing any contract, call the insurance and get listed on both their policies and dont pay them in advance. We went through almost 9 months dealing with this unprofessional company and still need the pool ripped up again in the spring to correct all their mistakes. They are unethical and their warranty and word is as worthless as the paper its printed on. STAY AWAY!
