In March 2025, I met with **** ****** at Apex Tax Advisors and submitted all my paperwork for my taxes. About a week later, I picked up the finished forms. I owed money and told him he could take it out of my checking account. He said it would come out in about a week. The next day when I carefully went over everything at home, I discovered he did not give me credit for my RMD which I donated to two charities. I spoke to the receptionist, left a voice mail and an email over the next week, asking him to hold off until we spoke. I finally had to make an appointment to speak with him, at which point he said he had immediately filed my returns (despite my requests to the contrary) and would file an amended return. It took another month to get my money back. Two weeks ago, I discovered he was having $750 taken out of my checking account twice every quarter for estimated taxes. I have made several phone calls and have not heard back. His communication with his clients is appalling. I want it made public that this man does not return any form of communication with his clients. He is completely unprofessional. I want $3000 returned to me that will be deducted from my checking account over the course of the year due to his error .

I had no note in my file that the client requested me to wait to file the return, our standard practice is to file the returns the day the return is picked up.  An amended tax return was filed in which the client was due a refund.  I filed the amended return but have no control over how long it takes the ************************ to process the return and issue the refund.  As the client also requested, I had filed for quarterly estimated payments to be automatically taken out of her account at $750 each.  I have no control over her checking account nor do I have any control over how the ************************ takes the money out. Neither Apex Tax Advisors, LLC or I ever received any of the funds debited from her account.  She would need to contact the ************************ in order to see why they are taking additional funds.  I will reach out to her to explain the process to her.

In summary, Apex Tax Advisors, LLC cannot refund money to a client for which no money was ever received.  Since these are estimated tax payments, she will get full credit for any money that was taken by the ************************ on her tax return.

I am rejecting this response because:
once again, **** ****** has failed to reach out to me as promised.  He has taken no action to correct his error and resolve this complaint.  I am being billed twice every quarter for estimated taxes.  I want him to stop the double payments to the *** and have my overpayment refunded to me.
