To whom it may concern: On the day of 9/02/2023 my partner ********************************* and I visited Downtown DentalArts of Montclair to meet with dentist ************************************************************ at *********************************************************, ** ***** Phone ************** ********************************************* We inquired for a price for a dental implant. The dentistry had a free consultation valued at $500. We entered the office, had a consultation for dental implants, and the office briefly explained their payment plans. The amount of loan was for the procedure $35,000.00 with an interest of *****%. The financial consultant made it apparent it was a good deal and documents were signed to accept the loan. ********* went to the 2nd appt on 9/06/23. They did a 3D cone and x-rays. The surgeon spoke to ********* and ****************** for a few minutes and said that ********* had good bones for the dental implant take place. They agreed to schedule him to come again on the 09/16/2023. The total amount came to $54,604.03 after interest was applied. After consideration and time to think of the procedure, it seemed really expensive. ********* called to cancel everything. After the call to cancel, the office informed us there were penalties for a cancellation and that the dentist doesnt work for free ********** returned back $25,000 to the bank and kept $10,000. We never received an explanation or consultation to explain the penalties or the consequences of the paperwork that we signed had we backed out of the procedure: We need an explanation and itemized receipt of how ********************************* owes $10,000 for two visits. I believe a consultation and the 2nd visit of X-rays and impressions does not reach $10,000, even with medic aid. This is an extraordinary amount of money for two visits and is completely unjustified. I hope that this case is investigated throughly.Thank you. Sincerely, *******************
