I have been living in a property managed by Asden for almost a year now. During my time as a resident, I have experienced some very bad situations and even worse business practices. My ceiling in my unit collapsed causing water to get into my unit and cause black mold. I forewarned the property staff about the ceiling before it collaped several times but it went ignored. It caused an unsafe living condition. 2 individuals came to my door on seperate days trying to either break in my home or stage an abduction on my sibling who was home alone at the time. I notified the property, only for them to tell me that the security thats on property cant help me and my only choice is to notify law enforcement. I pay for pest control as part of my lease agreement and have not seen the pest control technician since i first moved in. I notify the staff that I am still in need of pest control as of this current posting, and they still have not sent someone out. Why charge me monthly for something I am unable to actually use? I also am facing maintenance issues that still are unresolved after numerous contacting of property staff. Now I am being charged a pet deposit on my rent for June ****************************************************** Apparently, the leasing agent who did my lease forgot to charge me a pet deposit. I should not be now being penalized for a staff members incompetence. That has nothing to do with me and I should not now be being charged a pet deposit after a year of living here after stating to them before I moved in that I have a dog. They have failed to uphold their end of the lease. I pay my rent faithfully every month and my neighbors dont complain about me. Myself and my wife should not have to be subjected to sub standard conditions. We should be able to live somewhere thats pest free, structurally sound, having a peace of mind that where I live wont be burglarized, and be able to count on maintenance. Especially since we are paying for this.Initial Complaint

I lived in a property originally managed by *********** it was then sold to ASD management! It was a multi family unit. I lived at this property 2 years no issues. As this company took over they hired unlicensed ***************** could never get in touch directly with the owner of the property. I went from paying my rent in cash to paying on a portal. From day one it was unprofessional & unorganized. When he took over since my rent was paid up for months he didnt even know when it was time to pay. The down stairs tenants then left my apartment became badly mouse infested. I reported it to his unlicensed immigrant contractor who spoke nothing less of broken English! I then had to call the city! They became so mad. They filed court papers for a half of month of rent telling me he does this to all tenants incase they need rent help! No only help needed was extermination & sealing of the ways mice could enter the property. He instead wanted to push me out to rent the property to other illegal immigrations. I now have an eviction on my name for the next 7 yrs all because of the lack of empathy & wrong doings. Still no security deposit! Thousands of dollars of furniture gone due to a mice infestation. A disgusting company!Initial Complaint

On or about 10/2020, I moved out of a unit owned by Asden Properties due to COVID related circumstances.I paid a 12 month lease in full and they kept my deposit because i was unable to give 30 days. I have tried to call, email and contact the company that now "owns my debt", who told me it would cost me $59 to get any information! I didn't owe these people any money, completely cleaned and removed everything from my unit and left on a good not (I thought). In February of 2022, after recovering from COVID and cancer, I noticed a debt on my credit report and have been trying to get more information since only to be given the run around by "The Pointe Apartments", "Asden property Management" as well as " *************** Services" We were in the midst of a pandemic that caused not just me , but many people a lot of hardship. I had lost my job because everything was closed and paying the rent on a new lease was not feasible and my elderly Mother was sickened with COVID and needed me to care for her and I got COVID. All I want is this unmerciful and fraudulent debt removed from my credit file. Even if I did owe them money how could it be over $3,000 as I paid a 12 month lease IN FULL and they kept my deposit sighting "i did not give a 30 days notice". I can prove that before COVID got out of hand, I was the one waiting for them to respond to giving me a new lease and they said they were waiting to see if there was going to be a rent increase then, the ***** was shut down. I have several witnesses as well as the movers that can attest my unit was totally cleaned. Up until this, I have had excellent credit and have never been evicted or had charges for any damages to anywhere I have ever lived in the 7 states I have lived in! Please help me solve this issue as I am attempting to buy a house.
