I took my suv to Lucas Chevrolet at **** *** ** ********* ** *****. For my AC system to be fixed. The suv was blowing out cold air on the driver side. But on the passenger side hot air was blowing out. My husband & I paid $672.32 for diagnostic, labor & part. When we took the suv to them it was not leaking anything underneath. Spoke to (summer), she stated that we are paying for the dashboard to be taking apart inorder to fixes the problem. We picked the suv up close to closing time. Turn the AC on & it was blowing out hot air on the passenger side still. Gave it time to warm up inorder for cold air to blow out. Well the next day it was not working at all. I called the dealership & they told me to bring it in. Spoke to service manager (Danny) he said that it a leak & they can find where the leak is for $175.00 more. The problem is still not fixes to this day. Also they did not show the old part to us. Sumner stated that they don't give the old part to you & they give it to junk yard.Business response

customer came in 07/08/2021 vehicle had 81,495 miles we replaced hvac actuator to repair customers concern. customer took vehicle that night and we have not heard any complaint until 07/29/2021 and vehicle had over 82,704 miles. we diagnosed customers new complaint as vehicle being low on freon. most likely caused by a leak in the hvac system. cannot possibly be connected to original repair on 7/8 . customer declined further diagnosis. if customer wishes to continue the diagnosis to repair system we are willing to perform the diagnosis free of charge. any questions feel free to contact RYAN G***** ###-###-#### THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!Customer response

We have answered this compliant on the 31st of July. After the fist repair Lucas Chevrolet never received any communication about the ac not working properly until now. We will not refund customer being that the part we replaced needed replacement and the current issue is not related to the part that needed replacement. If the customer would like to make the necessary repairs to correct the AC we are more then willing to provide that service, LUCAS CHEVROLET will give customer 20% OFF towards this repair for any inconvenience or discomfort this may have caused.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the initial problem in which you Chevy Lucas we're paid to resolve through parts and labor is still present. The air conditioner still produces hot air on the passenger side, this is the problem we paid to have fixed. Since the results of your repair did not fix the problem there's no need to pay you again for what you initially failed to correct. As a legitimate business with your livelihood based upon customer service, possessing professional equipment and knowledgeable auto mechanics customers should be able to be confident that whatever issues exist with the vehicle and are made known to the service department will be handled professionally and correctly. This was not the case.
