    In Dec.. 2022 i gave them a deposit of $2200 from my fathers Grave monument. They told me we would have to wait until after April, to pour the footing to support the stone. About three weeks ago I physically went to the cemetery, and the footing was poured. Poor correspondence, and my fathers stone has yet to be installed. each time I contact them they keep pushing it back and back..

    In June of 2021, my girlfriend purchased a headstone for her parents, from Monuments are forever. What was supposed to take a few weeks has now turned into 9 months of mental anguish, frustration, disrespect, and just plain bad customer service all around the board. Everything was paid for upfront, all paperwork was given, we were supposed to get confirmation of the headstone being done and to sign off on it. That didn't happen, my girlfriend had to call, after that, radio silence. From emails, daily phone calls, and messages left no one answered. after about 2 months she received word that the cemetery had an issue. Right away she sent in what she needed to verify. After that radio silence again, until she finally drove back to the business did she get answers. They couldn't even find the paperwork, then said her order was canceled, only to discover that it wasn't. At least that's what they are saying at the moment. Now she has to wait another 3 weeks so they say. 9 months! Please do not do business with these people. They are unprofessional and disrespectful.

    Dear **************,Please accept my apologies for the difficult time your girlfriend has been experiencing with our company. We certainly are aware of the impact the death of a loved one creates, having recently experienced it firsthand. Unfortunately, there are more than a few parts that can lead to delays completing a monument. Over the past year or so it has not always been simple trying to keep up with calls and emails, I am sorry for the disconnect in our communication. The process for getting a headstone is a lengthy one and one that has been complicated by the pandemic and its effects on all the businesses that go into creating a headstone. We explain this to all of our customers when a monument is ordered. The first part of the process is getting a permit from the cemetery to install a monument. This step takes anywhere from several weeks (maybe what you are referring to as a few weeks) to well over a month. Once we have approval from the cemetery, the monument is put into production which takes another **** weeks. Upon completion, a photo is sent to the customer and once final payment is made (not the case here), the monument is scheduled for delivery, another 1-2 weeks. Anywhere along the way delays can occur. Setbacks from the cemetery, the suppliers of granite or other materials used to create the monument, the freight companies that deliver the products, the contractors who create the monuments and their equipment and trucks, the weather and even the US postal service are all resources that are out of our control. We do our best to complete the process as efficiently as possible though it does take time.
