    Copy of email sent to ******** ****** manufacturer of water heater. Complaint is for contractor who installed: To whom it may concern:

    I purchased a ******** ***** Water Heater just 2 years ago from Bommer Plumbing (************************************************************************************************************* Last week while having another contractor in my home, Atmostemp, to replace an air conditioning unit, Atmostemp pointed out that we had corrosion on our pipes connecting to the water heater. (See picture attached.) Needless to say, that just after 2 years, I did not expect to have any issues with the water heater. We had Bommer here today to look at the water heater, and they stated their labor was only guaranteed for a year and ******** ***** unit had a six year warranty. Therefore, the corrodded pipes, the work they did were no longer under warranty even though they agreed that the corrosion probably was there a year ago. Their cost to repair was $642! Why would I want them who did the shoddy work repair it?

    I know that you do not take responsibility of the contractor, but at a minimum, you should remove them from your website as a reputable contractor to install your products, and contact them to express your disapproval of the work they did.
