              Meyer & Depew installed a new **** system for my condo unit 4/1/2021. They returned 4/9/2021 to complete one last part of the install, after which final payment was made (totaling $9,600). As a part of the **** purchase/install, Meyer & Depew were suppose to obtain the necessary permits required for the work. They did not. Over the past six months I have called them numerous times to check on the status of the permit. The last time I spoke with someone was 8/23/21, at which point I was told they were dropping off the final paperwork with my town and it would take ***** days to hear back. After 20 business days (9/20/21) I called and no one answered. I called a few other times that week and finally left a voicemail. No one has returned my voicemail as of 10/1/21. I emailed their generic customer service address 9/24/21 and have not received a reply from that either. I have exhausted all communication methods to no avail. Six months after the fact I still don't have the required permit.

              Been using Meyer & Depew for many years , up until 2-3 years ago all old employees out and new in, that goes for sales as well as service technicians Old sales and technicians was great , not no more I have maintenance contract on my mini-split system that blows out cold and hot air This past winter, mini split stopped working Called them to come out They said I had a small leak in the Freon and it wasnt covered They charged $665 to repair the leak because they said i only had coverage on the air not the heat This is ONE system that blows out both cold and hot air I said fine fix it and they did They said they would be back out in 5 weeks to check to see where leak was coming from They called and said cost would be $695 whether they find the leak or not never heard of such nonsense I understand there is a service call to come to your home , but $700????I never called them back and I will not Service contract I have with them is for 3 items, my mini split , central a/c and my new furnace I got 2 years ago from them All this was $800 with tax I asked for seniors citizen discount , they said no because I have the maintenance agreement which I paid for I still cant wrap my head around, the cost to come out to check the leak whether they find it or not would be $695 Doesnt make any sense whatsoever Keep away from Meyer & Depew
