    I would give them a -5 or more rating if that was an option. Their customer service is awful from the field agent, the office adjuster and even their boss. They do not answer their phones and do not return calls, texts or emails. We filed a claim on 5/19 from tornado damage that occurred on 5/16 we and have been getting the run around, been lied to and ignored ever since. A field adjuster came out and took over 120 pictures on 5/25. Then it took until 7/15 for us to get the estimate and the claim letter. Even though their field adjuster and the roofing company stated that we had at least 85-90% damage with most of the ridge missing and severer damage in multiple spots from big tree limbs, they are only giving us $1390.88 for the roof instead of a new roof. We had a hurricane on 7/8. Now they are trying to say that we have to file a separate claim and pay another $9600 deductible because this is new roof damage but yet they won't prove it by sending us a copy of the 1st report and no one has came back out to re-assess the roof again. They were supposed to send a new field adjuster out and no one has even reached out to set this up with us. I also sent pictures and videos 2 days after the tornado where it showed water coming in our house by the roof alley on a shared wall area in both the living room and the dining room. It looked like a waterfall and this was several weeks before the hurricane. I will never use this company again after the claim is settled and our repairs have sufficiently been done. I will also tell everyone I know never to use them as well.

    They decided not to renew my policy after one year because the house is apparently too old and a single family, and they said my insurance score was low. The house is 95 years old, but it was 94 when it was first insured; not sure why a single family would be a risk; and *** never filed a claim ever so my insurance score should be fine. I called and asked why, and they couldnt provide any additional information other than the decision was final. If you dont want to insure an old house, get out of *************. They must be playing the numbers game - collect policies for a year and then cancel them before anyone can file.

    Dear ***********************,As previously communicated to you on June 28, 2024 via email to ********************** regarding the non-renewal notice you received for the referenced policy effective August 1, 2024. SageSure Insurance Managers (SageSure) the program administrator for your insurance carrier, Harco, mailed to you a notice of non-renewal on June 14, 2024 to be effective August 1, 2024 due to your home no longer meeting underwriting criteria. Our underwriting guidelines dated, March 13, 2023 state homes built prior to 1940 with an insurance score of less than Excellent are ineligible.When your homeowner policy was bound on July 21, 2023 a system error allowed your policy to be issued with an insurance score of Very Good. Our system should have declined to bind coverage. We understand your frustration upon receiving the notice of non-renewal after you had resolved the underwriting conditions from our property inspection conducted on August 28, 2023. We have agreed to rescind the policy nonrenewal for the 2024 2025 policy term to allow you sufficient time to find other coverage (reinstatement notice attached). Your renewal offer will be processed and mailed to you within the next 30 days. We will not, however, be able to offer you a renewal policy for the August 1, 2025 to August 1, 2026 term.We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. If you have any questions regarding your policy please contact your agent or SageSures customer service team at **************.********************************
