I purchased a 2022 ***************** from this dealer December of 2024. They misrepresented the condition of the car when purchased. I have had nothing but problems since 3 months after purchasing the car. The fact that purchasing I was not a smooth process should have been the first sign. First they quoted a monthly payment which was fine, I put my money down. Then when talking to the finance guy, they quoted another price. I walked out on the original deal and left. They called me back to make the deal again, at first I refused but they agreed to make concessions on the price. Also changed the initial car I was going to buy to another car. I asked for repair status on the car, everything look ok, although the stop start system wasn't ok. Ever since I had this car I've had so many problems. Within these 7 months, the car has shut off on me twice while driving, I've had to replace all the batteries and the tires. The car also has had so many issues with starting, my husband has to jump my car several times, I had to call roadside assistance twice. Now it's at the dealer with more issues in addition to the batteries again, the computer on the engine is broken and I had to replace. Bushing on the front axle as well as the rear brakes. The car hasn't even hit 50k and I haven't even had it for a year. And the extended warranty they offered would not have covered these issues. The warranties are c*** read the fine print. They misrepresented the condition of the car when I purchase it. After 3 months I should not have been experiencing these many issues. I want some financial redress to compensate for all these inconveniences.

I bought a ****** Sentra from them on December *******. The salesman that sold me the car said there was nothing wrong with the car. That it was in good condition. My first day driving the car I noticed the check engine light was on. I hadn't mentioned it to them on the day I purchased the car because I thought the light would go off. After receiving the title two weeks later. I found out it was a salvaged car. I went back to the dealership on December ******* to complain about the check engine light. Only to have the salesman that sold me the car say that they are not responsible for the car passing inspection! I called a friend of mine that knows a lot about cars and he spoke with the salesman. The salesman also had his manager speak with my friend. The manager asked my friend what does my friend want from him. My friend said he wants everything that is wrong with my car fixed in order to pass inspection. The manager agreed to issue me a check while speaking to my friend. He told me to go to my mechanic and get a printout of everything wrong with my car. On January 3, 2025. I gave the manager the list of of repairs that needed to be done. He mentioned having his own mechanic look at the list and he would get back in contact with me. I waited for the manager to get back in touch with me. When he got back in touch he changed his mind and said he would not give me a check to get everything that needed to be fixed! He said he would only fix the check engine light problem which according to my mechanic was $378. The manager at Car2sell said he would only give me a check for $200. Saying that he feels this was more than enough to compensate me. One of the things my mechanic mentioned that needed to be fixed to pass inspection was the "suspension Front Ball/control replaced" As a result, it broke off from my front right side passenger wheel on February *******. I drive customers for a living. I had been blessed to have this happen while not working. They are scammers!

Was sold a car without a title. The car broke down as I was driving home from the dealership. Asked for a refund and for them to come and pick the vehicle up. I lost $5000 as well as stuck with a car who needs an engine. $7000 fix.

The manager spoke with this customer and her spouse over a month after their purchase. During the conversation, they mentioned some issues they were experiencing with the vehicle. Although the vehicle was sold As-Is, the manager expressed that once a resolution was found, we would be willing to offer a small compensation as a goodwill gesture.
Additionally, the vehicle was sold for $3,612, not $5,000 as stated. The title has already been processed and signed over.

My mechanic said the car is too dangerous and unsafe to drive

      Business Response

      Date: 04/07/2025

This complaint was unwarranted. The car in question was sold as-is for approximately $3,000. Even though this was clearly communicated at the time of sale, we extended a courtesy over a month later by repurchasing the vehicle from the customer. The matter has since been resolved.

The business ********* engaged in a car sale with me in which they sold me a car that broke down for unknown reasons at the time upon arriving home within an hour of the sale. I trade din my car for this sale. The car was towed and they claimed they fixed the issue, however, within a few days, the car died again when I took my dog to the vet. It started up again after a while but then broke down again in a dangerous area in which I was almost in a serious accident in a major intersection. They sent a mechanic to figure out the issue and he believed he could fix the issue. After taking the car to him to be fixed and he "cleared" it as safe, I drove the car to Buffalo to visit my son at college. The transmission completely failed on a major road with my four children in the car. Again, I was almost in a major accident. The car was stuck in Buffalo at a mechanic for over 3 weeks in which I had to rent a car with a cost of over $1500 for the endurance of the repair. The dealer refused to pay for the rental or the car payment when I was without the car in the first month of ownership. I had to drive back to Buffalo to pick the car up and return the rental. This again cost money in travel and accommodations. Since the transmission repair, the car has been making a horrible sound and the check engine light has been intermittently coming on as well as the sensor lights that were promised to have been fixed. The car is unsafe and the dealer was completely dishonest in the safety of the car. I am looking for a return of the car and the loan to be resolved by the dealer. I do not want to have this car that is a danger for my family to travel in daily. The car was purchased on July 26, 2024. I have tried to agree with the dealer for a resolution, but they are unwilling to assist in the current repairs or reimbursement for the rental car or car payment when I was without the vehicle for almost a month. I am only looking to resolve the loan and return the car to be free of the loan and the vehicle. Thank you in advance for your help!

Understanding that the vehicle presented the customer with more issues than anticipatedeven though the trade-in she provided also had significant problemsand considering the high mileage and the fact that the vehicle was sold as-is, we are still willing to extend a courtesy and offer compensation toward the repair. Additionally, most of the concerns raised were covered under her warranty.

I went to the store to buy a car and after much deliberation we decided that we will put 500$ down as recommended as a hold for the car. Once we got back home we thought about it and felt that the car was way too expensive especially after paying it off it will be more than double of the price that was marked, so we decide against it. I called the place which is in hillside and I live in east Windsor and told them we need a refund because we will not be buying the car. **** told me that in order to get a refund I had to go in person. That was my first red flag. I explained that it won't be easy but I ill try. They said I could go any day. I went on a weekend and once I got there . I had to wait for a while before I was told . You should come on a weekday (red flag number 2) We are all busy and do not have time. The third time when I went there I was told that they have the card and information on file and I should not wait any more . I had been waiting for almost three hours. (red flag number 3) I went home and never received the refund. I called them and asked. They said it had been a while so they have to find my file. ( why dd they say they had it that other time?) I told them that I would report them and the manager had the audacity to say " go ahead" I still have not received my refund. This is theft and my next stop will be to the authorities.

We spoke to ******************* and explained to her the prcoess for a refund. She put money down on a vehicle then decided to cancel the deal and not move forward. We explained that she should come in for the refund to get processed, but she did not contact the businesss until months later. When speaking to her again she was very frustrated which we took as a misunderstanding since it was a while since she had reached out. We explained it would take within that week to find her cancelled deal and process the refund if she could not come in person, which would have been done faster since she would have the physical card to be able to return the money to isntead of processing a *******************. She became frustrated and then disputed the payment. At this point we did not contest the dispute since we would have returned the money anyway, so we are not sure what shes looking to do. To the company, this is already settled.

On October 31, 2023, I traveled from ******** to purchase a used 2022 **** Transit Connect. I was surprised when it couldn't pass the MD inspection but I took it as a loss and paid out of pocket. When I was purchasing the vehicle I was unaware that the vehicle had a crack in its windshield and a big dent on the side. I also took that as a loss. The main reason I'm writing the complaint is because I have yet to receive my ************ and also the dealer is refusing to send me another temporary tag. I am forced out of business and losing potential customers and money until this gets resolved and I am highly disappointed. I was not even given a time frame for when to expect my permanent tag.
