    This company have been very difficult to work with. I’m a current tenant and have been dealing with a ceiling leak since October 2023 I’ve been contacting them to fix the problem and haven’t had a resolution yet. I’ve been up-to-date with my rent up until this month May 2024. I stopped my automatic payment until the problem is fixed they do not answer my emails text or even phone calls, they have my last month and security which equals to $2600 and have threaten to evict me

    I was a tenant at their property on Tioga St. And I provided them with 30 days notice of intent to vacate on December 26, 2023. After speaking with someone on the phone confirming this and sending a text message, I proceeded to vacate the property by January 31, 2024. Per the lease after ******************************************************************************************************************************************************* a statement detailing what if any deductions had been made. As of today, I have yet to receive either. I've attempted to contact the company multiple times by phone and left a voicemail message. To no avail. I will be considering legal recourse if I do not get a response very soon. It's unfair that I did what was required to move in and provide the money needed to do so, but moving out I cannot be afforded the same courtesy from the company I'm regards to their obligations. Also, this is not my first time renting from JPD I previously rented a unit on Frankford Ave. And had the same problem getting my deposit back. After 2 tries, I will NEVER again rent from them nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else.

    I rented an apartment for my daughter **** ********* *** ***** ** she moved in on Feb 3rd 2024, on Feb 13th the property mgr. sent people into her apartment without notice they rummaged through her clothes that same day the property manager showed up went into the apartment again without notice she sent my daughter a text told her to be there by 4:30 when she arrived the woman evicted her said the landlord did not want her there gave no other reason other than the place was messy the law for PA states that 3 week's notice has to be given for an eviction my daughter had no place to go. I reached out to JPD via text; and a few VM's with no response I believe JPD should return my security deposit and the last month's rent, I also paid them the 1st month's rent in the amount of $750. When my daughter moved in there was mice/rat droppings all over and the place was dirty, she was to move in on 1/17/24 but was afraid to. So in my opinion JPD broke the lease and should return my money which I need to get her another place to live
