    03-20-2023 paid remainder of car balance completely off in full! Was never handed title and was told it would be mailed to me! the dispute is "where is my title"? I contacted them over this numerous times and was lied to each time i called! they would tell me things like "oh the person in charge is not here" or "we already mailed the title" or "we sent it a long time ago" etc. they never tried to resolve this at all! always would lie or would not answer! even my sister tried to go there and get my title for me, they lied to her aswell! this company is a joke and all liers there! I paid the car off in full now where is my title?

    this is the first we have heard about getting this title? It was mailed out back in april and we have no notes from this customer since. If he didnt receive it a simple phone call to us wouldve resolved the issue. If He would like his title we can get a duplicate for him, but he needs to speak with ***** or ***** in the office **********. the title was mailed to, ********************************************************

    I am rejecting this response because:

    They are not being honest!  I called them many many times about the title! Each time I was told the person who takes care of titles is not here, or some other excuse, never resolving my issue! I also spoke to the managers there more than once about this and gave them my address where I moved too because I have not received my title yet? They told me they will send it! They never did! I called again and talked to the people mentioned who say they helped me there, and they never returned my calls at all, not once! So how will calling them once again cause me to get the title this time? What guarantee will I have THIS TIME?  I will call that number once again and give them one more try!   Then I will allow you BBB to see there reply! Thank you!

    Purchased a vehicle for my daughter in October 2023 that came with a warranty! The first week we had to take it to their shop for minor issues such as brakes, brake light etc we waited over three months for the tags and registration. And three months later the car broke down! We were told by National Auto staff that it was the timing belt and to get it towed to ************ in ******** **. We get the vehicle towed to ************. We call National Auto 2 weeks later for an update on the vehicle and didnt receive an answer. We called Engine Word and was informed that the car needed a new engine and they were waiting for National to give them further instructions. A month and a half later we reached out to National and reminded them that we have a warranty and they need to either fix the vehicle or give us another vehicle. They agreed to give us another vehicle in the same price range. We receive another vehicle and the first week had to take it to their shop to get a leak from the sunroof fixed, the brake light, and the air. A week after that the car breaks down we get it towed back to their shop. They informed ** that it was the Cadillac Converter. Two weeks later we finally get the car back. A week after that the car brakes down on the side of the road again! We get it towed to our home. The next day we tried to contact National Auto and they kept saying the same thing all day the owner and the other guy that handles these matter just stepped out! Terrible business! Now my daughter is stuck without a vehicle again!

    I originally purchased a car from National Auto Sales on October 4,2022 but began having issues with the car bought within 2 days of having it. I then went back and was provided a replacement car on October 17,2022. I was told that the process was already started for me to receive my license plate. Before my temporary tag expired I reached out to the business to see how long it would take, so that I wouldnt get stopped by the police and get a ticket for it. They informed me that the *** is still backed up from covid, and that any tickets received while the tag is expired should be brought to them to handle. Now its been over a month of having an expired tag. I was stopped by an officer last night, and was told that my car is supposed to be towed because of the expired tag. After contacting the ***, I was told that National Auto never even started any process for the license plate, and also that theyve had this issue in the past with the business. I then contacted National Auto and was told once again that they could not do anything for me, not even provide me with a new temporary tag. Being that they arent doing anything to help resolve the issue, I was hoping that you all could help resolve it. I need to know that they did their part in order for me to receive my plates, and during that time Ill need a new temporary tag. Even with all the issues Ive been having from the first car to all of this, Ive still been making my payment and on time, so I would hate to have to pay towing fees as well as worrying about not having transportation because of this.

    Unfortunately due to Covid *** work all over is running behind, you can see multiple legislators in the state attempting to remedy this issue. Furthermore the *** would not disclose that kind of information to the customer because she has no idea which location the *** work is in and only the *** location/Rep would have access. Due to privacy laws the *** also wouldnt disclose any reported issues to a consumer as it would be slanderous. The *** has authority over the auto dealers so if there was an issue on our end it could risk our dealer license which is in good standing. As for issuing a second temporary tag we are legally not allowed to issue a second temporary tag tag. We have been told this by our *** representative. The only thing we are allowed to do is give a letter stating that the tag work is pending at the ***. The Tag work is still pending at the *** and once its received we will notify the customer that her tags are ready. As for supposed issues with the vehicle customer has a warranty and we have no notes of her reporting any issue that her warranty covers. Shes welcome to notify us of any issue she has.
