Monday, December 16, 2024 I picked up my 8 year old grandson from school. While I was driving, without warning or a reason, the dashboard of my car started flashing red as a fast paced beeping noise generated thru the car and the steering wheel vibrated. Within seconds the car went to an immediate, abrupt stop. I thought another vehicle struck my car because of the impact from the abrupt stop but when I looked into my rear view mirror, there was no car behind me and no cars around us. The seat belts didnt work and hold us in place. My grandson went flying out of his seat. My body was jolted forward. My laptop, my bag and other items were tossed around in my car. I thought the engine shut down but to my surprise, the car was still running. This was startling to me but my grandson appeared fine and I remained calm in front of him. I pulled away.Tuesday, December 17, 2024 AM I was driving my car, again, without warning or a reason, the dashboard of my car started flashing red as a fast paced beeping noise went thru my car and the steering wheel vibrated. Within seconds my car immediately made an abrupt stop. Due to the abrupt stop, I thought I was hit by a car like the first time this happened, however, there were no vehicles behind me or around me. The seat belts didnt work and my body was jolted forward, again. After this incident I called the *** dealership in *******, was placed on hold and didnt get to talk to anyone.Tuesday, December 17, 2024 PM I had to pick up my grandson from school. As I was driving, yet again, without warning or a reason, the dashboard of my car started flashing red as a fast paced beeping noise generated thru the car and the steering wheel vibrated. Within seconds my car made an abrupt, immediate stop. This time, vehicles were behind me and due to the abrupt stop of my vehicle, an automobile hit me from behind. Again, my seat belts didnt work and the airbags didnt deploy. My body was jolted forward.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Raceway Kia of Freehold, ** is the responsible dealership, not *** in *******, ***
I apologize, I need to correct two things.
1) The cost of the vehicle I paid is $47,874.
2) In my initial complaint, I must've ran out of character spaces when typing.
I am disputing this vehicle with Raceway Kia of Freehold, **. Their address is ********************************************************************; 07728. The phone number is **************. In my initial complaint I mentioned I contacted *** of Neptune after my accident, however, they are not the dealership I purchased my mechanically and electronically malfunctioning vehicle from. Raceway Kia in Freehold, ** is the dealership I'm having a problem with.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I appreciate your help and I look forward to hearing from you. Please let me know if you need additional information.
Thank you.
Regards,

On Tuesday, June 18th, I reached out to ************************* in regards to a promotion for a specific vin for a new Kia **** ev. I was looking to trade my current lease. His response with no money down that 79 dollar deal is not possible, but state "what if they can get you the same payment as you are paying now with zero down" I replied yes. I went down to the dealership on Wednesday to meet with ****** and he stated he was at mid 400's with zero down. (In the meantime I overheard the sales manager "u" (I apologize as I dont remember his name) was reprimanding employees in front of customers and even was talking about ****** . Through several text messages which I do have saved, ****** informed me $365 was not possible but if I moved up a little then we can something. I then moved up to $390. He then stated we were really close. I proceeded to the dealership on saturday just to have that same manager (who failed to introduce himself or even who he was) give me a range of ******* with 3k down. How is that "really close" to my 390 with nothing down. Keep in mind I have all the original text messages. I was looking foward to continuing my business with your dealership as my current niro ex lease was through you . With being lied to, I find it hard to trust your business.Business Response

Vehicle was purchased 01/02/2024. My father was a co-signer on my new lease and they went on the motor vehicle website changed his address without his consent to match mine which we have two different addresses. Now, 23 days later the car that I traded in that was a lease still hasnt been paid off and the lien on the car is still under my name. My father went twice to confront the address change and why the old car is still not paid off. They gave him the run around and told him the check will be mailed out later that week. Two weeks later the old car still hasnt been paid and theyre holding the check still. On top of this now the old car is still reporting on my credit report that its late and will go to collections and affecting my credit score. Something has to be done about this.Business Response

I bought a car there and the windshield was broken but I was told it was on order. It was not on order. I had to drive around for weeks with a broken windshield. I told them I did not want the pin stripe and the guy who sold it to me said they would remove it. Once I signed the paperwork and paid he then told me he couldnt take it off. There was a sticker on the back bumper and I told them I did not want that. They said it would be removed. They removed it and then put one of their stickers on top. But waited until I had signed everything. Now I got an oil change a month ago and there is absolutely no oil in my car. They wont even answer the phone. Not to mention this car was supposedly certified pre-owned and I found out after I bought it that they never even inspected the car before I bought it!!!Business Response

I live in PA, and the first week of May I Purchased a 2020 Kia ****** from Raceway *** of Freehold **. My salesperson was *******************. I was given a ****************************************************************************************************************************** requires an inspection of the vehicle within 10 days of registration, so it is important for me to know when I will have the plates to schedule and appointment. After 30 days I did not here from anyone, my plates were expired, and I called in and they sent me another 30 day temporary plate. That plate will expire on July 4, and I will once again be stranded without a car. My Sales Person ******************* ignores me when I email him on this matter. I have called and messaged multiple supervisors on this matter and never gotten a response. When I call their dealership no one is available to speak on this matter. I have never had anyone from the dealership give me a status update on the plates, or even communicate that the process of getting the plates has been initiated. They advertise themselves as having first class customer service, but both the reviews on this website and ****** testify to the opposite. When you call them, the recording by their manager also says they have straitforeward pricing and total transparency. This is the opposite of the trust. I was never given a breakdown of what I was charged, how much was the price of the vehicle, how much was fees, etc. When I asked for a bill breaking down what I paid I am ignored. I also paid for an extended warranty and was never given any information on it. When I email my sales person or text his manager, I get the usual treatment and ignored. I would appreciate anything that can be done to hold this dealership accountable for giving me the plates they charged me for, which was part of the sales contract, and which I need to be able to use the vehicle. I have emails I can use to document their ignoring my inquiry about the plates.Business Response
