On 6/5/2024 both my co-tenant and I were EACH charged $180 (online application fee $75, online reservation fee $100, and $5 convenience fee). Even though we were told that the reservation fee is to hold the apartment and that the charges were related to our lease, we were subsequently denied the apartment and not refunded the fee. A fee to hold an apartment during an application process in which you will ultimately deny a tenant is unjust. We provided documentation upon documentation and jumped through hoops only to be robbed of our money and denied a place to live. We want a full refund as we paid for a "service" or a "good" that we did not receive.

My section of building has 4 apartments. We share a few common areas, the foyer, staircase and basement. In the basement there is a door that leads to an outside staircase. This door has been broken for years. *** complained and requested the door be fixed since anyone and anything can just walk in. My wife once told me she saw a raccoon in the foyer. The last time I spoke with them they told me they were waiting on the door, that was at least 6 months ago. I know the maintenance personnel knows about it because Ive barricaded it shut and theyve come and move it then just leave it not fixed and just hanging there. I have 2 little girls and a wife who are here alone. My neighbor across the hall is a sweet old woman who lives alone, I want this door fixed as it is a health and safety issue and has to be against code. If you looked around this place you would find violations everywhere. Again, ***************** that leads OUTSIDE is broken. Door does not shut or latch. The door jam is barely even on the wall. Ive notified the complex numerous times with 0 results. My neighbor also said she has in the past as well.
