    On September 4th, 2024, I booked a tour at 3pm under my name & a tour for 3:15pm under my mom's name. I was about 3 minutes late, so I decided to call the owner to give a heads up that I am coming & did not forget. He then proceeded to inform me that time is a little too late & hinted that he may need to cancel the tour. I then advised that I booked a second tour under my mom's name for 15 minutes later so I will just use this tour time instead & he informed me that it was fine, he'll see me shortly. After starting the tour, I noticed the owner was slightly monotoned & very nonchalant so I did not mention feeling like he had an attitude, but I did call my *************** to tell them not to come anymore due to already upsetting him by being three minutes late. The owner himself told me I would have a photographer included in my package, linens, backdrops, throne chairs & even informed me that if no one booked the night before or the morning of my event that I could come in early to set up without having to purchase extra time. It was a little suspicious that he told me I'd have to sign a contract then refused to let me see it until the deposit was paid but everything else sounded great so I paid my deposit the next day based on the fact that I would be able to have 12 tables, provide my own food and provide my own liquor. After paying my deposit, I had to reach out to them to request my confirmation and contract, my photographer was only available for 4 hours, they no longer had 12 tables, if I wanted extra time for setup I'd have to pay & they only allow you on the premises 1 more time after your tour. The venue is very small so after speaking with my decorator they advised me to get floor plan measurements to which the owner ended up telling me it was an outrageous request even though he is the one who told me I HAVE to have all details finalized for him to make the contract & ended up canceling 5 wks before the event. He then sent a lawsuit for doing a review.
